Goblet of Fire Tops Chamber of Secrets in World Wide Box Office

Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire continues to shatter records at the box office, as this weekend it earned enough to surpass Chamber of Secrets and move into eighth place as one of the top grossing films of all time. Box Office Mojo reports that GoF has now earned an incredible $879,448,000 in world widebox office receipts, moving one notch ahead of Chamber of Secrets which was released in November of 2002. On this all time list, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone still holds the number three spot, with $976,475,550 . Titanic is ranked at number one, with over a billion in ticket sales.
