Many readers have emailed about Shirley Henderson’s (Moaning Myrtle) appearance on BBC America tonight in a modern retelling of the Shakespeare classic play “The Taming of the Shrew.” In this new movie, Shirley co-stars with Rufus Sewell as “a ruthless politician with no time for romance, make-up or vanity.” Taming of the Shrew airs tonight on BBCA at 7pm (ET).
Also, a reminder that new Order of the Phoenix director David Yates has been nominated for an Emmy Award as “Best Director” for his film “The Girl in the Cafe.” The Emmy Awards will be broadcast tonight on NBC at 8pm ET.
