Warner Brothers has now launched a new contest to win a visit to the set of “Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince” via the Facebook website. Open to residents of the US and Canada ages 13 and older, users of the Facebook social networking website (registration required and is free) may enter up to 20 times daily via a special Facebook application, or once using this entry form. The Grand Prize is a trip for trip for four to London, England for a set visit of the sixth Harry Potter film, with the visit to take place in or near March 2, 2008. Other prizes include 78 First prizes of a $300 Noble Collection gift card, 54 Second Prizes of a $200 gift voucher to Noble Collection, and 54 Third prizes of a $100 gift card to Noble Collection. The sweepstakes is open now and runs through January 5, 2008. Good Luck to all who enter!

On a related note, if you add this special Facebook application to your user profile, you will be able to access four videos, including the “Order of the Phoenix” DVD trailer and a clip from the Trailing Tonks OotP DVD extra we showed you previously, as well as two new clips, including a new trailer for the Special Edition of the Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix DVD, as well as a feature on editing the music using the Umbridge theme from the score to the OotP film. Enjoy!

Thanks to the many Facebook friends who sent this editor an invite for this application and sorting where I did choose Hufflepuff-shock, I know… ;)

There was a similar contest for OotP…but not on faceboook. I’m not signing up this time, cause last time I gave up on entering everyday…

Anyway…when are they going to show us who is playing the varying version of Voldemort in this movie? Will Fiennes be in it? Who will be 11 yr. old Riddle, and sixteen year old Riddle? I want to know that.

This is too much fun!!

Only I can’t seem to figure out how I mastered the hard spells and can’t get Expelliarmus to work!!!!! :)

God I hate being from Australia. I really really really do. We get NO competitions like this, no premieres! Stupid Australia.

Avatar Image says:

Yeah, I know charma; it’s always so disappointing when Aussies aren’t eligible to enter things.

On the other hand, the contest sounds like fun and I’m very excited for the people from the US and Canada who can enter; best of luck everyone! I hope that a Leaky poster wins it. :)

Hufflepuff!!

Avatar Image says:

Yeah Hufflepuff also! Does anyone else think learning the spells on the application is hard? Maybe its just my laptop but I can’t do it right. I liked the old way when you just had to click a button.

Avatar Image says:

Yeah, I don’t know how to enter multiple times a day. It only let me do it once. Anyone know how?

Avatar Image says:

:( it’s never open to australians :’(

Avatar Image says:

Yeah Indigomisfit, my laptop’s giving me a hard time with those spells too. I liked doing those little quizzes that the application had before. YAY! I finally get to enter something, living in Canada sometimes sucks. Hopefully, next time they’ll open the contest HP fans around the world. Until then, good luck to all those who entered this one=)

Avatar Image says:

PLEASE LET THERE BE A SIMILAR COMPETITION IN ENGLAND!!!!

Avatar Image says:

Well, it REALLY both sucks AND blows that as an Australian I can’t enter :-( Good luck to all those on the North American continent who enter. Go Canada and USA! And I’ll have to think twice before buying the WB copy of the movie…. i might just buy a PIRATE copy… hehehehe!

Avatar Image says:

I can’t figure out how to enter multiple times a day either! Help, somebody!
