New "Half-Blood Prince" Footage on OotP DVD
HBP FilmThere is new footage from the upcoming “Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince” film included on the US Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix DVD. Readers will recall that when the UK saw the release last month, there were two special sneak peeks at the sixth Harry Potter film included via the DVD; today there is new video with the sneak peek, including some fantastic shots of Draco (Tom Felton) cursing Harry on the train, and Harry and Ginny, the interior of Slughorn’s home, and even dialog between Professor Dumbledore and Harry discussing Horcruxes (yes really!). Also new are various interviews conducted recently at the DVD launch in London, England, including new quotes from actress Emma Watson (Hermione), Matt Lewis (Neville), Rupert Grint (Ron) a hilarious quote from Dan Radcliffe (Harry Potter) discussing the Ron/Lavender snogging scenes, as well as quotes from producer David Heyman and HBP director David Yates. Woohoo! Harry and Ginny kissing! Well, nearly … And it looks like a scene they’ve added that wasn’t in the book. That’s good, though – in a movie they’ll need to show all the H/G interaction that the book only hinted at.

oh, could someone please tell, where exactly this footage is? on which disk? I got 2 bonus disks with my OOTP yesterday (yep, yesterday), but didn’t see this. Help, pretty please?
This may be a dumb question, but does this work with each version of this movie? I just bought the two-disc special edition this morning. I’m at work, with no sound on this computer or access to Youtube. I know by the time i get home this will be taken off youtube, so I just want to make sure this will work for me.
I too got the 2 disc special set- hopefully it will be at my house by the time I get home from work (according to DHL tracking, it is out for delivery!). Wow this new HBP footage has me so pumped!

Please don’t get me wrong dear US Potter friends, I am thrilled for all of you – but I find myself now cheated out of my money! Here I ran to the store last month, buying the OotP DVD – happily watching the extras on my PC – thinking how lucky we were in Europe!!!! And now we have to learn that our copy is not identical with the American one :-( This is absolutely outrageous….....!!! Had I known this, I would of waited and ordered it by Amazon.com, paid the expensive (!) shipping costs to Europe – but at least been content…Please folks, will you be so nice and put those scenes, interviews somehow ONLINE – so we here in Europe can see them also…THANK YOU ALL

But I have to agree with a previous poster… the UK (and I suspect the other dvds realised last month) and US DvDs are not the same.. we got less extra features, and it’s simply not fair.
Dawn—I’m in the US and I do not think it is fair either. They should all be the same,the world over.
