The Wizard Rockers are at it again, this time with Wizards and Muggle Rock for Social Justice, a compilation of previously unheard music from some of the most popular Potter-themed bands, including Harry and the Potters, The Remus Lupins, Draco and the Malfoys, The Whomping Willows, The Hermione Crookshanks Experience, The Parselmouths, The Moaning Myrtles, The Marauders, and more.
The CD is available for preorder now and will be released on June 1. Visit the project’s MySpace page for ordering info, or you can do so at the following links:

Proceeds from this CD will aid the Harry Potter Alliance, an organization that encourages using our mutual love of Harry Potter to achieve educational and humanitarian goals.

It has been put together by Cheap Rent, an association that helps bands get their music created and promoted. Matthew Maggiacomo, who is The Whomping Willows and a friend to Leaky, organized and produced this CD. Andrew Slack, who runs the HP Alliance, as well as many of its board members, are also good friends to Leaky and have shown their interests to be pure and worthy, which is why we’re happy to promote these efforts. And hey – more music means more fun.

If you have further questions, don’t hesitate to contact Matthew at thewhompingwillows [at] yahoo [dot] com.
