U.K. publishers Bloomsbury have updated their Harry Potter section with a poster that we told you about previously, but is now sporting the new children's cover art for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. If you would like to download and print out this poster at home, you may do so via this link. (pdf)
Also, readers will remember that TLC first told you last year and then again in January about a special edition due of Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone. As we told you back in January, this book, part of a new collection from Bloomsbury called "21 Great Reads for the 21st Century" contained a new introduction from author Alexander McCall Smith. We posted excerpts before, now the entire thing may be read via this link. (thanks el cronista!)

Finally, the 21 Great Reads for the 21st Century section of Bloomsbury notes that during the year "two or three authors will feature each month, giving details of their careers, forthcoming books and events and suggestions of similar Bloomsbury authors you might be interested in." We are trying to establish when J.K.Rowling will be featured and will update with more on that when we can. In the meantime, you might enjoy reading about the many other books and authors they are featuring, including John Irving and his wonderful novel "A Prayer for Owen Meany" that we heard the author read from when he was in New York last year with Stephen King and Jo for the charity event at Radio City Music Hall.
