Good news for Vietnamese and Bulgarian fans of the Harry Potter series, it was recently announced that the two countries will publish the seventh book on the world wide date of sale, July 21, 2007. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows will be available at midnight in Bulgaria, and at 7:30 am in Vietnam.
The Bulgarian translation of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows will be "published near Christmas 2007" website Avtora.com reported.
That's strange - aren't France and Germany not getting the books till like October? But for some reason Vietnam and Bulgaria are getting it the same date as us? Strange. I'd hate waiting that long for the book - 3 months of trying not to hear spoilers..
good question, Dave Almighty. maybe alot of readers in germany and france get the original english version?..... i know alot of bi-linguals complain that stuff gets lost in the translation..
i am sooooo excited. this is gonna be awesome. and i hear from a friend of mine who lives in london but has friends in france that many of the french ppl send out for the english version... or just come over and get it... they dont wanna wait and if they can read english... its ALL good. lol.

France and Germany will be able to get the English versions on July 21. Their translations don't come out until October.
don't they usually not allow translations until the english version is out to help prevent spoilers... idk... i don't know all the facts so i have no idea... i do wonder though...

What? I'm puzzled now.
Hmmm.
I can only assume they are able to buy the English original on 7/21 and get the translation later.
I'm live in France and I have been getting the books in English on the same day as the English readers since OotP. It's available everywhere.
Half-Blood Prince IN ENGLISH was at the top of the best-sellers list in France, remember?
Wow, that's crazy - that must make a lot of French people buying books in english if it was top of the best-sellers list! Surely most of you can't all speak english though - I suppose you get a lot of people who find a bilingual friend who can read aloud. "Bah Oui...back to ze reading..ze next line is saying "Harry Potter and Voldilocks sit at a table eating porridge. They like it so much they decide to be friends, and start braiding eachothers hair. The End". Wow, you could have great fun being bilingual!
Who is RAB???? The Horcrux will be important to Voldemort. Who could have guessed the cave? Hogwarts is good he was happy there, it was his Home. (Like Harry). Also I think Hermonie is not what she appears. Come on she knows too much about everything and why would she take Muggle Studies? She would be a good plant a Muggle born Harry could relate to.

LOL! that made me laugh Dave ;)
Harry raised his wand. Now was the moment to do it. Now was the moment to avenge his mother and father. He was going to kill Black. He had to kill Black. This was his chance... [br]The seconds lengthened. And still Harry stood frozen there, wand poised, B
