The Houston Chronicle is holding a new contest to win the Harry Potter SceneIt DVD game, plus four free passes to your local Cinemark movie theater. In order to enter, readers must write an essay on the biggest Harry Potter fan they know, in 250 words or less, and can submit their entry, along with their contact information, on the entry page here. The winning entry will be printed in the Chronicle and the contest ends June 29th. Good luck to all who enter!
250 words is about 1/3 of a page typed (short words mind you, longer words it could possibly be 1/2 a page). Houston is a metropolis of over 5 million. The Chronicle is going to receive hundreds of entries, I’d say maybe even upwards toward a thousand. XD It’s just a boardgame and movie tickets. There’s no need to make it any longer than that. I’ll have to see if my sister wants to enter this.
