J.K. Rowling Posts Potter Acknowledgements

On this last golden day of ignorance, J.K. Rowling has opened her “Do Not Disturb” door on her web site. The door is simply open: No games or puzzles to get inside. There is a heartfelt note waiting there, alone, in which she gives her last acknowledgments to the people who have helped her write Harry Potter. “I don’t think writers are supposed to be this happy,” she says.

We all at Leaky, all 200 of us here on staff and readers alike, want to take this opportunity to throw that gratitude back onto Jo. It’s been an unbelievable ride, we think we can all agree. Thanks, Jo…we can’t wait to read what you have in store for us now. And next.
