With further new excerpts from her “Today Show” interview, there is a new and very SPOILER filled article now online where J.K. Rowling goes into detail about the deaths of certain characters in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. While this is a fascinating piece where our favorite author gives new insight and her reasoning why she chose the fates of certain characters, please be advised this is an article about death, and more importantly gives a great many spoilers for the final Harry Potter novel. Thus cautioned, if you wish to read this article, click here.

On a related note, we hope to have the entire interview that was broadcast on DATELINE NBC earlier tonight up for you shortly, including a version for our galleries-hang tight!

i like the part about the christmas present…

its like i see why she killed off sirius and dumbledore and mad-eye and dobby and fred and remus and tonks … but that doesnt make it any eaiser. and i really really REALLY thought sirius was gonna make a comeback.

but i got over it. and it was truly amazing.

I kept missing all the shows! Thank God for Leaky. I can relate with the little boy who made an emotional attatchment with certain characters. I made one with Neville and Harry, I could relate to them in certain ways.
