Emma Watson has posted a new blog entry on her official website, where the actress gives her thoughts and reactions having now finished reading Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. Emma, who portrays Hermione Granger in the Harry Potter films, gives (spoilers) comments about the fate of her character and more in book seven.
Emma also thanks the many fans who turned up to show their support at the various premieres of theHarry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix film, in particular thanking those who stood in that horrible rainy weather at the London premiere. To read this entry (again spoiler warning for “Deathly Hallows”) click here.
It can’t be cut and pasted, but maybe you all are missing the little bar that would act as the scroll bar? Look to the right of the text, right towards the end of Emma’s left eye, and there’s a white bar there. You should be able to move that up and down. Best of luck! :)
And to Alexa…Ron gave Harry the first Sneakoscope in POA, but at the beginning of DH Harry finds it broken in his trunk. So, Hermione gives him a new one for his 17th birthday.
HEY I cant seem to find Emm’a comment on HPOOtp
I clicked on the link from leaky artical and it brings up Emma’s offical web site but nothing on her opinion on the Deathly Hallows????
What a cute little blog. Sounds like she is one tired young lady after her travels. I am glad she liked the book too. My feelings echo hers. I was so glad Ron came back and that they finally got together. Hermione definitely completes Ron and vice versa. It is neat that she was excited they had babies. What an adorable young lady she is.
I found one… at the beginning of the chapter after Ron leaves (Godric’s Hollow, I think), Ron’s empty bed looks like a corpse to Harry… then he keeps his eyes averted from Ron. But he’s not there!
I love the book rite up to the end but the last few pages were a let down i thought jk was going to write a chapter on what happens to every one theres only neville who as any closure yeah it says ron got it together with hermione and harry with ginny but wot happened to hagred, gawp, george, billy, fleu, and the rest of the lovley weasleys i`v spent years getting to know and love these characters and it ended with harry touch his scare and it hadnt hurt in 19 yrs the end!!!!!!??? come jk you can`t finish the best thing ever written like that!!!!!!!!
I go to her site, click on EMS,,, nothing!!!!
Just says click onto it,, doesn’t go any further as to what she said.. so how else are you all getting it?
In one of the many interviews JK has given, she explained that she did write a whole lot for the epilogue and she didn’t like it that way, because it seemed like she was trying to cram everything she could on those last pages, so she went for a ‘vague’ feeling, like in a haze or some such and just gave away tidbits. If she’s going to do the encyclopedia thing, I’m pretty sure that’ll fill us up, except for the critically obsessive (of which there are many).
Emma is very cool in my book and I just love that eyes-semiclosed/sideways-smirk thing she does (she’s doing it in the background picture). I’m a guy and I didn’t cry at any of the deaths, but I will admit getting misty eyed at the forest scene (which is a very powerful scene, specially if you’ve lost loved ones in real life).
I’m glad Emma liked the book. She’ll get to smooch with both of her co-stars and cry a few times (in fact, Hermione cried a lot in DH) but the role is greater than ever, since most of the movie is just the three of them (two of them for a while) and we only get to see the Hogwarts crowd at the very end.
“Woop woop!” Haha how adorable! Well, we’ve heard Dan and Emma’s thoughts, I can’t wait to hear from the rest of them. Evanna’s so vocal, I’m surprised she hasn’t spoken up yet.
Your right El Caz, I never though of that, it’ll just be the three of them for most of the film! Anyway, she didn’t say as much about DH as I would have liked, for some reason I wanted her to mention Snape (the bravest and maybe most skilled wizard in the series) but glad to know she enjoyed it!
"You're worth twelve of Malfoy," Harry said. "The Sorting Hat chose you
for Gryffindor, didn't it? And where's Malfoy? In stinking Slytherin."[br]
Neville's lips twitched in a weak smile as he unwrapped the frog.
I loved her reaction to DH. How cute is she?
