Release Date for Turkish "Deathly Hallows" Translation Announced

Harry Potter fans in Turkey will soon be able to get their hands on the seventh and final book in the series, it was recently announced that the translated edition of the book will hit shelves in that country on October 9th. The Turkish publishers also noted that Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows was translated by Sevin Okyay and Kutlukhan Kutlu and will be available for purchase in Turkey at 10:00am local time.

We have to wait till November 17th in Holland. But the Spanish speaking people have to wait for more than half a year, very strange! Why not ONE release date for all the translations?!

Wow that was ultra quick! Not even a month after the release and the Turkish have it. :) Good job, translaters. Kudos! I bet the Japanese on the other hand have to wait about half a year….I feel bad for them.

Harry Potter and Deathly Hallows will be available in bookshops in Romania starting the 1st December this year… Actually it’s 2 december, because on the 1st is our National Day and everything is closed. ;)

Sevin Okyay and Kutlukhan Kutlu (Turkish interpreters) are doing a hell of a job! The Turkish translation is so marvellous that it is worth waiting for.

In Iceland, Harry Potter and Deathly Hallows will be Release November 15th in bookshops, but the people who are pre-order-ing the book gets 7-10 days before and a Free HP T-shirt in mail :)

The Turkish title is “Harry Potter ve Ölüm Yadigarları” which translates into English as “Harry Potter and the Keepsakes of Death”...

i really think that all the books should be realeased at the same time because it is totally not fair to people in other countries and then you get the people who translate it themselves and sell it
