The British Board of Film Classification updated their website today with a list of some deleted scenes that are to be included on the upcoming Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix DVD. Running a total of 10m 10s, the scenes listed under the title of "DELETED DRAMATIC CLIPS" are as follows:

00:00:21:06 "FILTCH BLOWS ON UMBRIDGE'S HAIR"
00:01:47:14 "HARRY HERMIONE AND UMBRIDGE - EXTENDED"
00:00:37:22 "HARRY ENTERS"
00:01:07:23 "HARRY AND RON PACKING"
As reported earlier, the Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix DVD is widely rumored (although not yet officially confirmed) to be released around the November 12 time frame. On a related note, one of many purported covers of the boxes to the DVD is now online, this one from the movie informer, although we are unable to obtain any source or information about this website, so again, please keep this in the rumor category for now as well.

I agree with Amy. I think they are excluding the most important deleted scenes so as to include them in other versions of the DVD that will be released later, maybe when all of the 7 films have been released in the first (and surely cheaper) version. XO There’s no way that those 10-minute deleted scenes are all of the excluded stuff. I hate those tricks they do to make more money!! XO Do they really NEED more money?? This is Harry Potter, for God’s sake. I doubt there are more films in this industry that make more money than this!!
I need to see more snape’s worst memory scene!!!!!! those other scenes look kinda boring. i want to see more of bellatrix and sirius too. and harry smashing up dumbledore’s stuff.

Grindewald, when I pay to see a movie in the theater, I expect to see the WHOLE movie. It’s just that simple.
I’m willing to bet that WB will release an “extended” version of OOTP on DVD at some point. And of course, it will include those deleted scenes. Yes, those very same scenes that may result in an “overlong, poorly edited movie”. But then of course, this really is all about $$. Like I said, I get it now.
What I don’t understand, is why they actually make the 2-disc dvd’s uglier than the 1-disc version. I want to buy the 2-disc, but it’s all black and white with this very ugly grey line. just like the fourth. yuk!
Again, they disappoint me with the lack of deleted scenes. Only ten minutes worth? The Harry Potter DVDs have just been a let down. I’m still going to buy it of course, and enjoy what’s on there… but it’s disappointing.
I admit I’m disappointed that there was so much cut out from the film. Oh well, I’m still very hopeful about the HBP film which is based on a shorter book. The next film might explain one or two things what wasn’t explained in OOTP.
Again, Chekov’s Rule nullifies the importance of SWM in OOTP. Because it is so important, they will do the whole thing in DH itself, thus it isnt really that big of a deal….
Yeah, snape’s worst memory was horrible in the movie, way too short.You couldn’t even get a good loog at their faces, it lasted like 5 seconds. And lily doesn’t appear at all.too bad, it was one of the best scenes in the book. and where was the scene where ron is attacked by brains at the ministry?
Never mind the delete scenes, I have come to accept that the Harry Potter movies just make the book a bit more alive, nothing more (since everything is cut out) but if that is the dvd cover they are going to use, I am going to boycott WB products or something, I mean it is not even the real Ginny (Bonnie) on the cover and the inside, on the dvd, that is the picture of Hermione (Emma) with her chest photoshoped too highlight it.

What is this crap? They pare down a three hour movie and all we get is ten minutes of lame walk through shots and steady cam?! Where’s McGonagall’s attack? Where’s Lily and the rest of Snape’s worst memory? And where, for the love of Pete, is the Bella/Sirius duel in the ministry?! This is rubbish. I hope to hell this listing is either a partial list or a complete fraud.
