ishsheruni, no offence, but that’s a very ignorant comment, can you tell me at least one similarity? No, you can not, if you search pics of him, you’ll see Hitler (WWII, J. Kippilng -> WWI) looked totally different. His uniform, moustache (if you can call a little square under his nose a moustache), haircut, face, body, expressions… everthing is different. And what would be the matter if he looked like him? Don’t be immature. The only important thing is he looks like the person he is playing, Jack Kippling.

You are jealous because Daniel is enjoying his time, playing other roles, fantastic roles btw, stretching himself as an actor. And you are just trying to search something bad to say, but there is not anything bad to say, he is acting, playing a character, you have just shown your ignorance.

If you were less immature you would realize this is great for HP, because more experience will be shown while playing Harry. And if you would love history, you would be happy, because this movie looks great, I can not wait to see it.

I’m sad to see Leaky has to suffer such immature people…

I saw the December boys trailer yesterday in front of the movie Becoming Jane. December Boys looks really good. I love when Dan laughs when the young girl tells him she can teach him some things. It is such innocent reaction from a boy who has very limited time spent with girls. I hope it actually comes out in my area. I was disappointed when Driving Lessons did not make it to my area which was odd since Tampa usually gets these smaller independent films all the time.

I was shocked at how much he resembles Rudyard Kipling himself… And he’d look even more like Kipling if he wore the granny glasses!

I have found myself increasingly obessed with Dan!!! I have been messaging him on myspace and he has actually replied a couple of times!!!!!!

I couldn’t believe it when I got the messages from him- now all I have to do is convince him to marry me!!!

I don’t know what it is, he just drives me crazy!!

Daniel does look so very handsome in these photos and so much like the very young man Jack Kipling.I am SO very proud of Dan for doing this wonderfully sad true story that needs to be told again and remembered. He does NOT look like the monster that is Adolf, that is so insulting, not just to the memory of Jack Kipling himself , who gave his life for the freedoms of others. But also to Daniel who looks just like a WWI soldier .Perfect.

I am SO looking forward to this film. It is being shown in the US on PBS’s Masterpeice Theater.

Loved the period peice suit with the diet coke and cell phone.lol!

pottergirl, Dan does NOT have a myspace of his own. The person your are talking too has the smell of cabbage in their kitchen.Don’t beleive what they tell you.

Rumus, Dan does wear granny glasses for the characterr in this film. You can see him in those second photos.

Jeannine – Re. myspace- there is one that looks very credible but I don’t believe its real- it does look very good though. however, he does really have one- everything is set to private but when you are accepted as a friend you can see a little bit- he posts bulletins and everything- it IS him!!!!

I’m not gullible- I do know there are loads of fakes- but I promise you – this one is real!!

Unless it is verified by a site you can trust like Muggle.net or The Leaky Cauldron, you should assume that anyone claiming to be Dan is an imposter. It’s really a bad idea to talk to these people.

www.DanRadcliffe.com has one that is set up for his fans but HE does NOT come on there. Any other myspace that tells you they are him are a fake .They often look extremely REAL . Dan does Not have ,and never will have ,a personal myspace.Beleive me ,that site is NOT REAL!!!Stay away from him, whoever he really is,he is probubly trouble. [That doesn’t mean that he may well have a website of his own “someday”(like Emma now does NOW) ]

Of course the uniform and moustache might make Dan look a bit like Hitler, but then again, how many other “famous” people stand out in our subconcious minds wearing a uniform and a moustache like that? Regardless of how different the two of them are/were in real life, finding similarities (on their looks) isn’t that big of a stretch specially since I have no clue what the son of Rudyard Kipling looked like. I can understand people getting offended by the comparison but Dan’s haircut and pasty-whiteness aren’t helping much to make the similarities dissappear. I’m sure once he’s in the role, among others looking like him, with a british accent and a completely different personality and environment, the differences between the two will stand out.

Regarding acting opportunities, I’m glad Radcliffe is taking up roles that are so very different from Harry in almost every aspect, be it looks (like this one) or mindset or time frame or whatever, but he’s really trying his hardest not to be typecast. If his other films or projects started to bomb, he’d be in trouble, but so far that hasn’t happened yet. He’s enjoying a stardom aura which I hope lasts him a long while, enough for people to see him as an actor instead of just Harry Potter.
