I didn’t like what Bonnie was wearing at first, but now that I look at single pictures she looks gorgeous- I can live with the bangs now!! I like how the green cardigan makes her hair look even more RED. So pretty. She should’ve tied it round the middle though because that dress is black and blends in with the background a bit. And worn green shoes instead of silver which, while it is original, is kind of “yikes”!.
Emma always look pretty- and uh, those dresses are in style guys, it’s going back to the 30’s and 40’s way of “dresses”. At least she’s wearing a pretty, happy color.
Matt has gotten so handsome over the past year!! Daniel… is pretty much always gorgeous. lol

Congratulations to Dan, Emma, and the rest of the cast for their wins! Everyone looked really good despite fatigue. Emma’s dress bothered me at first, but as I saw more pictures of it, the more I liked it (especially the color). Bonnie’s dress was nice as well, but her wearing black stockings and a cardigan drew the eyes away from the dress. Overall, the DA looked very pretty and handsome, and Matt just gets more attractive every time I see him.
Helen Mirren looks absolutely stunning as usual – I hope I age half as well as her!
Congratulations to OotP, Dan and Emma. I really am flabbergasted. Pity there wasn’t a supporting actor category for Rupert to win – R&D shouldn’t have been pitched against each other; there’s a big difference between a main and supporting role. But good for Dan to get recognised for his performance in OotP, in which he seems to have won over a lot of critics.
Though I don’t value these awards at all, it must be amazing for the actors to see how popular they are. The website only allowed one vote per person because you had to register for the vote to count.
Inger- I was thinking that Dan looked like Harry with his hair sticking up like that! They should keep it like that in the film.
sorry for the triple post but someone said Hot Fuzz won too?? YAYYY!!!! That is by far the best film I have seen all year! I’ve NEVER laughed so much at a film.
I’d like to see Rupert Grint win something, sometime…just like in the books, he’s always “Harry Potter’s sidekick”. Ok,so he can take that to the bank, but still, he’s young, and would be nice for him to get some recognition

Well, all I can say, Ian, being at the age that those men are and the length of time that they have been acting, they certainly should be “jaw-droppingly brilliant”. Daniel, at eighteen, is showing that he has the guts to achieve great things. He is earning his place along side these great actors. Even Helen Mirren acknowledged that.
Just a small note: Thank you, bratpack, for stating the obvious. You said it much better than I ever could. With age, comes knowledge. I hope Dan, Emma AND Rupert have a wonderful, long career, ahead of them. :)
Everyone seems to be forgetting that Dame Helen wasn’t nominated for an award. She was just there.
BTW: I’m a bit confused as to why ITV seem to be ignoring the fact that the awards are on tonight. Maybe its just cause I live in Scotland but the Rugby seems to be on instead.
Alex Watson going to the stage for ootp award? OH PLEEASE, I hate when the family of famous people try to get fame just because of who they’re related too… And Emma’s sisters got a role on a film now just because they’re her sisters… But seriouly, WTF? He was just an extra, there’s lots of actors who deserved to be there more than him, he is a nobody, and should realize that. He’s only Emma’s brother, not more than that, until he actually gets cast to a film and has a character. THEN he may be receiving awards. Sorry if I’m being too harsh on a kid, but he already is old enough to think for himself and know that that’s not his place to be there on stage.

I think this should have been called most popular actors/actresses/films/whatever awards, not the “best” actors/actresses/films/whatever awards.
If we’re talking about “popular”, especially nowadays that it’s OotP that’s in the run (not PotC for example), then of course anything HP would win, the film would win, Dan being the lead HP guy would win, Emma being the lead HP girl would win, and if there was awards for secondary lead guy, Rupert would win, and if there was awards for secondary supporting characters, then Bonnie, Evanna & Matt would have win too….etc.
This’s not about what’s good or best in terms of the quality of the performance, this’s about who has the biggest number of fans with loads of free time in their hands to make sure their idol win, that’s it really.
