This is fantastic! Congratulations Jim Dale! I too, have all the audio books on CD and it’s the way I “read” the first five books. Later on when I started reading the book books to my son I used Jim Dale’s voices and I’ll tell you it’s not easy to keep them all straight while reading out loud.

I love his McGonagall, Hagrid and (brrr) Umbridge! Dumbledore is hard on the throat but satisfyingly wise in tone. I can listen to the books over and over again and not get tired of his reading.

Well done!

Mr. Dale totally deserves this Grammy, as Deathly Hallows is quite possibly my favorite HP book that he’s worked on. Congratulations, and here’s to hearing him on Pushing Daisies again after the Writer’s Strike is over!

The man has golden tonsils and I never grow tired of listening to HP land via Dale. If he hadn’t won the Grammy there would have been rioting in the streets. Ok, maybe not, but we’d be WANTING riots in the street. Congratulations Jim Dale, you are the spoken voice of Harry Potter Land!
