Jim Dale to Speak at Portus 2008

Actor Jim Dale, narrator of the US edition of the Harry Potter audio books, will be a speaker at the upcoming Portus symposium later this summer. HPEFhas now announced that Mr. Dale will give a special presentation on Saturday July 12 at the Portus 2008 Harry Potter Symposium in Dallas, Texas, followed by a Question and Answer event as well as autograph opportunities later that same day. The presentation and autograph sessions are free to Portus attendees, and as a bonus, Portus is now offering a special discount on registration for their event. Register by March 15th and use the special promotional code WELUVJIM, and you will receive a regular Portus registration for $180 (which is a $40 savings). Jim Dale is the best, I can’t stand other books on tape now because he blows my mind. Too bad I won’t be at portus. I guess I’ll just have to hope that “Pushing Daisies” goes back into production, so that I can get my Jim Dale fix each week.
