I think people should just stop complaining, I think she’l be great. She’s not exactly what I pictured eirther but then neither are any of the others really and I think they all do a great job. It makes me laugh how some people take it SO seriously, that little comment about being ‘wicked and witchy’ she was joking! Some people will always find fault with whoever they cast, I guess.

I’ll wait for any promo pics or trailers, or at least when HBP to come out, to judge if she is a good Narcissa. She could easily wear a wig, I mean Jason Issacs does, and he look’s great with it.

I was wrong about HBC—I’d always seen her playing “softer” parts, but she is hell on wheels as our Bella. I will give this actress my utmost attention, knowing what she does for Harry in the forest in DH. It will be good to see her “wicked” at first, then realize what it all means in the end. I cannot wait for HBP to be ready.

Things certainly have gotten more positve about her and that is great. I like whoever pointed out on the second page that Jason has dark brown hair and Alan has blondish hair. Yes she will do great and she certainly can pull of being a snob and a concerned mother.

i think helen will do better playing the part of narcissa than her sister bellatrix becouse of her loyalty to her son which better than loyalty to he who must not be named as draco had that nasty job for the death of dumbledor so it goes with out saying helen is the perfect actress for narcissa who is no fan of he who must not be named, well done helen see soon in hbp

helen is very very nice to look at and when helen plays the part of narcissa she will knock me out cold well done helen

I’ve bee out of touch for a while. Have we seen any photos of this actress in her Narcissa costume? Do we know that they are not giving her blonde hair?

Also, I think they cast many of the adult characters too young. Narcissa is old enough to have a 16 year old son in HBP, but this actress just had a baby a couple of years ago.

Guys she will have blonde hair we cant talk about certain images but go to the main page of HPANA, and find out for yourself. And no she is not the lady who played Anakins mom in Star Wars- I have no idea where you got that. I cant wait for her to strut her stuff as an aristocratic witch, who is married to the wealthiest wizard. I hope she says ” dont you dare talk about my husband like that”

I hate that people have to be conceited about there thoughts. Everything is I or me. HOW in heavens name are the casting people going to get someone that is like everyones Imagination picture. You people who are complaining and really it isnt much on here more on the hpana forum, but they still after all this time are like – she isnt “my Narcissa” so she wont work. I really dont think they have any idea how conceited that sounds. YOU just want to say get over yourselves and accept it. Nobody in the movie is going to cast the way you want to 100% of the time and really no one matches the description right on so I am glad Helen is going to be in this one and the last two just to show them they cant always get things handed to them the way they want.

What so many people dont get is that – the picture that leaky is using of her is actually a picture from one of her performances…so she is not her usual self she is in charcater. Just remember that people have been predicting dame hood for her since her late 20’s/early 30’s. I am especially surprised at how closed minded some of you HP fans are, you would think that after reading the story you would be more open- minded. Its just really Sad. BY the way I dont know what your going to do because she IS Narcissa and will be in the last 3 films.

I don’t know what’s wrong with you people, I just presume you haven’t seen her in much but I honestly cannot wait to see McCrory as Narcissa, mark my words she’ll do an amazing job. (and gimmie a break with the “she’s not naturally blonde” argument, big deal neither is Jason Isaacs)
