OK, now this is cool: Long rumored to have been filmed for the “Order of the Phoenix” film, thanks to Oclumencia, we can now see at long last, the prisoner of Azkaban…Lucius Malfoy. You can see the photo of Jason Isaacs as Lucius, sitting in his cell in Azkaban, holding his prisoner id card, via this link.
Hehe, isn’t that awesome Sue? Your man in stripes!
With the Blu Ray now, they have to go back and add in all the deleted scenes into the movies, and things like this (or was it a deleted scene on some other disc?)
That neck brace must be from when Sirius took him down at the ministry. I wish they would use this in HBP because all we’ve seen of Lucius so far is him being so evil and arrogant, and this shows him being taken down. Isaacs is such a good actor. Look at his eyes in the hi-res close up. It’s as if he’s trying to be his normal haughty self but fear is winning the battle.
P.S. Whoa I I you always come up with some intriguing stuff (in the two times I’ve seen you)
all the delated scenes will appear in the style of special dvds like the starwars aniversary and so….some day you will have the orginal dvd and the special edition. merchandise!
1. i don’t have “big enough” news or “evidence”
2. the news is “too big” to be true.
i’ll simply point a few things out, in my defense:
1. Mugglenet has a post up about a BlogHogwarts interview with an actor cast as a Death Eater (minor character). He affirms that WB is keeping some casting under wraps. Now, I’m not saying this means that you have to accept what I said above. Just take a moment to think why after so many minor casting announcements, there are still some people left. Note that casting itself is actually over. (official statement by WB as well)
2. When I posted about the proposed plot of the “movie” OotP, I had quite a few folks assume that this had to be untrue, as there’s no way I could have found out that early. Later, when the final cut did not follow the plot-line I said it would completely, I must admit, I was a bit let-down. Now, however, it is known that the “Hagrid & the giants in the mountains” scene, was indeed going to open the film initially, but it was cut along with the “McGonagall-attacked-Hagrid-fleeing” sequence. The scenes were not included on the DVD.
3. When I recently talked about the proposed plot (not in as much detail, this time, I learn from the past) for HBP a few days ago, some folks again went “impossible!”. say what you will.
4. I’d long ago (before HBP book, sometime in Jan 05) said that there was going to be something called a “Hallow (s)” in the sixth book and that it would be at Hogwarts. I was wrong. The Elder Wand showed itself in book seven. (I didn’t know what/who a Hallow meant at the time, of course). Unfortunately, I can’t find the post here now, I probably posted in some other forum as well though. (won’t bother finding it, I’m not trying to brag/boast here)
and so on…
Point is, I’m not asking you to believe everything you hear. I don’t either. Just don’t run “everything” down as a rumor.
I’d like this as part of the newspaper montage after Fudge finally realizes Voldemort is back. It’s been awhile since I’ve seen the movie but I imagine he would say something about Death Eaters caught in the Ministry and then you get to see this great picture of Lucius.

Don’t quite get when he got hurt enough to have a neck brace though…
I am highly dissapointed at the fact the the fifth movie was short and completely different from the book, although, I was watching deleted scenes on youtube and I noticed that they did somewhat have parts from the book, Just deleted them, This picture is the most wonderful thing ever, I love it. Where did you get the picture?
With a roar of rage, Black started toward Snape, but Snape pointed his wand straight between Black's eyes.[br]"Give me a reason," he whispered. "Give me a reason to do it, and I swear I will."
