actually… PS/SS was released nov 2001 CoS was released nov 2002 PoA was released June 2004 GoF was released Nov 2005 OotP was released July 2007 and HBP should be released Nov 2008 so really after Chamber all the movies have had roughly 18 months in between.

And I agree about them releasing the teaser in front of Batman… They’d be silly not to…

Okay Melanie, you’re right. But let’s consider something else. Yes, the OotP teaser came out 8 months before the films release. But, it also means that WB waited a full year between the release of GoF and the time the teaser was released. Look at the GoF teaser. It came out in May 2005, 11 months after the PoA release. Sure that itsn’t exactly a year, but it’s close.

So even though we’re only about 5 months away from the release of HBP, if WB was to release the teaser in July they still be following the one-year timeline. So lets not sit here and assume WB hates us just because we didn’t get the trailer back in May.

I kind of enjoy the poster….it’s dark, mysterious…..almost, shall I say, cave-like????

and I like that they aren’t releasing stuff….makes my anticipation grow even more because I’m not spoiled by “teaser” stuff.

Oh, and we waited 20 months between GoF and OotP. This wait is only 16 months, so yes the timeline is different.

Trouble Maker, if WB is going for a PG 13 rating again, it would be absolutely ridiculous to put the trailer in front of kids movie. If you didn’t do it for speed racer, why do it for Traveling Pants 2?

of course the movie’s gonna be great i hope it’s longer than OOTP and POA Goblet of Fire was pretty long anyways, WHAT??? the trailer and poster should be out look at ootp! it came out in July but the trailer came out in like JANUARY!!! LOOK at Twilight it’s coming out a month later but they released the trailer AND the website!!!
