Hold on everyone! The batch of high res photos from Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince as seen earlier today in the USA Today newspaper are now here. We also have two more new photos to tell you about released via MSN Mexico, one showing a new photo of Ron Weasley (Rupert Grint) in full Quidditch gear, and this one of a deep in thought Draco Malfoy (Tom Felton).
You know how they said the Inferi had too little skin stretched over too many bones? Draco Malfoy’s ‘do seems to consist of too little hair stretched over too much head. I think it’d look a little better if his hair was longer, but I have to say, I have NEVER seen Tom Felton look so much like Draco Malfoy. I’m really excited about him having a bigger role in this film, because his role was teeny-tiny in the 4th and 5th films, and pretty darn small in the third one, as well.
Luna looks awesome, too! But it makes me laugh that Lav-Lav’s hair is fluffier than Hermione’s. Oh, and Matt Lewis is adorkable as always. _ I love him. I hope he gets a good role in this movie. It was a bit of an anticlimax when I read the 6th book and realized Neville didn’t do much in the book (despite being awesome in the previous installment.)
I’ve just come across this picture on this site, I haven’t seen it before but don’t know if it’s new or not. It seems to be of Harry in a field with the lake in the background. Let me know what you all think!

you know what…all of those pics are great but I am sick and tired of Warner Brothers and the producers always changing everything!!Romilda Vane as a sixth year?Neville in NEWTS potions?Slughorn thin(well, kinda)and with no walrus moustache? Why??Have they ever tried to stick to the material?I mean how can they explain the fact that there are now two new students in the same year with Harry? The only thing that made me happy was that Harry is holding the Elder Wand in that pic…then again he shouldn’t be holding it!oh well.I hope this film turns out to be good and not a silly comedy with teenagers snogging.Mark my words fellow Potterfans, the way I see it,the DH films may as well be different beyond recognition and noone will have voiced their displeasure(so many details have changed now, that most elements of the DH plot will be impossible to preserve in the films). It is up to us,fans, to kindly point out that some things are just very different.I am a little disapppointed but still looking forward to this film.:)
Tristan, you took the words from my mouth! Months and months of waiting and finally we have pictures, no, hold it – HIGH-RES pictures. Oh boy, oh boy! This is so awesome!
(goes off to photoshop the spectrespecs onto Draco’s face)
It’ll be awesome haha.
AND OH MY GOD! DeathlyH has a picture of Draco emo-ing on a staircase!!!!
(hugs Deathly H through the cyberspatial ether)
Lots of Draco! A look at Slughorn and Luna’s specs! Today is bloody brilliant. _
LemonFaerie—I agree about the hoard behind Ron in that picture. That is a BIG team. The little leather helmet is HILARIOUS, and much needed methinks. The Ministry must have passed some sort of helmet law…

I NEVER complain about what characters look like…but they really messed up Slughorn. I mean, he looks nothing like he’s described, and so much of his character comes through his mustache and weight. I’m sure Jim Broadbent will do great, though.

"Trying to ruin someone else's life?" said Harry loudly.[br]A few people looked around. Rita Skeeter's eyes widened behind her jeweled spectacles as she saw who had spoken.
