I’m confused with the quiditch shot…I could be wrong, but isn’t number 1 the seekers number? Or is it the keepers? Its been a while since I’ve read the books so I’m foggy on that part :-) Are the numbers correct? I know its a petty thing and I’m not upset by it….just curious.

I agree that the pic with Ron in quidditch gear with a lot of people behind him is the tryouts. I was looking at the potions pic (not going to get started on who shouldn’t be there) but I was noticing that there is nice resemblence between Lav-lav and hermoine. Look close. There are similar features.

Ron looks hot in his quidditch clothes. But he also looks nervous. Draco looks ok. Man all of these new photos in just one day. I wouldn’t be surprised if they released either more photos or the trailer. I hope we get more pictures. Maybe we will get on of ron and lavander or something like that. Pictures keep on coming.

WHAT?! WHAT?! WHAT! Where is his mustache?! I’ve been waiting three years for my favorite character to come on screen, and they deliver Jim Broadbent in a wizard’s hat?! They didn’t think to maybe make him LOOK LIKE his character? I am infuriated.

Wow – I cannot believe the onslaught of pictures today ! Beautiful ! And I must take time to agree and clarify a few things if my memory serves…

1. Yes, I do agree that we are seeing a picture of Quidditch tryouts. The team is not that large and they are not spectators either.

2. They did not seem to capture the Horace Slughorn as JKR wrote his description, (enormously fat, walrus moustache, bald.) However, it would take a large ” fatsuit ” to make one ” enormously fat ”, a balding cap unless Mr. Broadbent was nice enough to shave his entire head, and fake moustaches look…fake. I think that even if ” the look ” isn’t quite up to par, it will take the skill and experience that Mr. Broadbent has to capture the persona of Horace Slughorn, and for that, we will have to wait. I do not doubt his ability.

3. Yes, Harry is holding the Elder Wand. And yes, it MUST be introduced to film audiences for its importance to be signficant enough for DH. I am sure they will have Harry place the wand with Dumbledore at the funeral. Remember, he has a conversation with McGonagall in DD’s office prior to the funeral. That is the photo we see.

4. I am quite quite sure they have left in Harry and Ginny’s ” big blazing kiss ”. They are just trying to ramp up the tension between the two with an ” almost kiss ” at Christmastime. I am sure we’ll see Ron glaring in the background somewhere in the film. I’ll just miss Mrs. Weasley turning up ” A Hot Cauldron full of Love ” just to annoy Fleur. ! LOL !

5. I love the photo of Draco. I would almost bet it is where he is watching everyone go to Sluggy’s party….

6. Did no one notice how much better Dumbledore looks????? His beard is longer, his hair is whiter and longer and straighter ! He looks great !! Let’s hope HIS acting is up to par this time around !

I’m pretty sure that the quidditch picture is from tryouts, that is why everyone is wearing the same scrimage jerseys. The actual uniforms seem pretty cool.
