Hold on everyone! The batch of high res photos from Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince as seen earlier today in the USA Today newspaper are now here. We also have two more new photos to tell you about released via MSN Mexico, one showing a new photo of Ron Weasley (Rupert Grint) in full Quidditch gear,and this one of a deep in thought Draco Malfoy (Tom Felton).
Slughorn’s picture I agree a bit disappointing with no moustache. Maybe this is a rehearsal picture, like Harry sometimes doesn’t have his glasses on??
Ron’s quidditch uniform, wow he looks a d*ck LOL! Maybe that’s why he has that expression. It does look like the tryouts. I agree all the 2s are prospective Keepers.

LOVE the pic of DD, this looks like the moment he has lost his wand and has slumped down. And the picture of Draco pointing the wand is in the same place? It does look like the astronomy tower.

The movies are based on the books – they are not the books! That’s why characters may not look (or be in classes) as you would like. Why can’t fans accept film making is a different medium.
oh and are we back now to the just-funny ron? as far as i can remember ron had some heavy sad/angry issues going on here in hbp… well, nothing not expected from wb i suppose :\
Lavender appears in the one with Hermione in Potions class!! YAAAAAAAAAY!! ^ AT LAST we see Jessie as Lavender!! ^ OMG!! She sure likes to put bigs bows in her hair!! XD She also does it as Stella in Summerhill and in her agency pictures.
BTW, it seems they’re gonna put Romilda Vane in sixth year with Harry & Co, instead of in fourth year. I don’t know if someone thinks the same as me, but Ron looks kind of ridiculous with the Quidditch gear!! XD I think it’s something about the helmet…
Jinkies!!! I nearly fainted from HBP pics overload. I am so happy that we’ve got pics!!! Am all excited now!!! squee!!! Though I thought it was funny, I was checking Leaky every couple of hours a few days ago and then when I’m busy with work and other stuff all this comes… but as they say a watched kettle never boils…
Commenting on the ’ Winter ” pic of Harry and Hermione…there’s no doubt that is where they are returning from Hogsmeade and have just witnessed what happened to Katie Bell !! My goodness ! We say we know the books and then assume these pics are not canon !! Why????
And Dumbledore in his office…No, he does not look sick and weak from the cave or from Draco. This is probably where is is telling Harry about Horcruxes !!
If anyone ever took a film class they would know you cannot film a book and do justice to every character if you leave them within the pages they were written. We would NEVER see Neville if he was not included in this class, whatever the class, as he does not feature prominently in HBP. So Romilda Vane is there as well…so what? How do we really know that is Romilda??? IS that verified?
And I say again….lets see how Jim Broadbent acts before judging. ANd NO !! We do NOT want Cuaron back at all !! We’ll have freakin giraffes and monkeys and deadheads everywhere if that happened ! Sheesh !
Yeah, Ron really looks dumb in that helmet. But, where are D’s glasses? nice they made his hair whiter, but why here and in OotP isn’t he wearing his glasses? (If he has a magical way of fixing his eyes, u’d think he’d fix Harry’s.) And, not shown here, but in every movie Harry wears gloves in Quidditch, so how are they going to explain the snitch’s “flesh memory” in DH?
Rupert! OMG OMG OMG OMG ! I freaking love you. :) I couldn’t comment at all yesterday for some stupid reason. GRR! Anyway, I love the new pictures. =) Luna is definitely on the Hogwarts Express – you can just tell. Draco looks … yummy. (x And Slughorn is a little too thin. =[
