Emma Watson continues to enjoy her love of fashion, as the Hermione Granger actress is featured in the October edition of the US “Harper’s Bazaar” magazine. Thanks to our order partner EmmaWatson.net, via this link, you can see these simply beautiful photos, where Emma sports a variety of couture gowns.
Well, I was right about Hogwarts inspiring the runway…the dresses are gorgeous and I like the way the designers are in the photo as some sort of Hogwartsian denizen. However some of the dresses look much better suited to Bellatrix or Narcissa—I guess fans of “Evil Hermione” will find much to admire here! :D
I think she is much more telegenic than photogenic—in stills they have to catch just the right shot, whereas on film she’s really lovely.
Wow. Emma is going to make a big impact on the fashion industry soon. I would bet anything that she is going to persue a career in fashion or modeling any day now

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! the last one is just… WOW. when did she get so grown up and so…statuesque?!
Emma is beautiful, and so are these gowns, but what silly photos!
Again she is made to look like she is playing dress ups and again she has been photoshopped beyond nature, her waistline in the Marios Schwab image alone is ridiculous.
Though I liked the second (Christopher Bailey) and last (Giles Deacon) shot, I have to agree with Dudley – I thought she looked like she was playing dress-up in a few of the shots, particularly the Philip Treacy one. I also completely agree with the photoshoppiness of the Marios Schwab picture. She’s very pretty, but why can’t they put her in something a bit more age appropriate? Something trendy or fashionable, but doesn’t make her look like a little girl. She looks a bit lost in the couture stuff. The Christopher Bailey one was good, stick with that.
Wow, wow! The gowns are fabulous. And Emma looks so grown up and sophisiticated in them poses. Pity that she’s not on the cover but I guess Kirsten Dunst sells more mags than Emma.
And hey, this IS work! This photoshoot is part of the promotional marketing that the trio have to go through everytime a new HP movie is released. This Harper shoot may seem random but it HBP was not delayed, this would just be one part of the rolercoaster of promotions for the new HP movie.
Harry liked Hermione very much, but she just wasn't the same as Ron. There was much less laughter and a lot more hanging around in the library when Hermione was your best friend.
Exquisite gowns, really. And Emma wears them well. There’s something ethereal about her in photographs that doesn’t come through on film the same way.
