Deathly Hallows Filming Update: Sirius Black’s Motorbike is Back!

Jul 26, 2009

Posted by SueTLC

Check it out! The flying motorbike belonging to Sirius Black is back, as witnessed in new location photos for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. Although not so airborne as in the books, you can see these new pics (more here all courtesy of HP4U) of stunt doubles for Hagrid and Harry zooming along the Dartford-Thurrock River Crossing tunnel and bridge express way in Kent, England as they did a sequence to be used for the Seven Potters scene. Neither Dan Radcliffe nor Robbie Coltrane were present for the filming. reports that “the bulk of the shoot was centered on obtaining wide
shots of the pair being chased into the tunnel. Harry wearing a grey
hoodie with a stripe down the arm and wand at the ready, Hagrid, in his
familiar huge coat and sporting his goggles sped at around 30 mph in
real time speed, weaving in and out of traffic with great effect. For
Friday morning, we were treated to further perspective shots of the
pair racing through the tunnels, despite the oncoming traffic, weaving
in and out with Hagrid seemingly kicking out at any vehicles which came
too close and Harry casting spells to his rear.”
Other filming for the scenes will take place at both Leavesden and on location, rumored to be Hartfordshire over the next few weeks.

Thanks much to, ONTD, SS, and all who owled!

Avatar Imagesirius17 says: Yess! I can't wait to see this scene, I hope they have the part where Hagrid dives off to save harry!Avatar ImageRinny says: interesting- a little sad that they won't be flying, it seems, but it will probably be an awesome scene none-the-less!Avatar Imagecghambright says: SO AWESOME!!! I know they don't drive on the freeway in the book, but I think that will make the chase even more action-packed...I wonder if they've already filmed the scenes from the chase sequence in the sky? But I love seeing Hagrid and Harry (even if it's not the real actors) on the motorbike!! :DAvatar Imagesplinch says: no flying, another minor plot point that david yates is too "creative" for. seriously guys, a car chase scene in harry potter?? we been hijacked.Avatar Imagemonicahp2009 says: It adds to hope that they will continue to do this movie correctly!Avatar Imagecghambright says: @Rinny: I'm sure they're still going to fly. They probably just end up on the ground after the motorbike malfunctions or something. Avatar Imagenoe_lover_42 says: That's awesome!Avatar Imagesplinch says: p.s. it looks like madeye's death might be too minor also.Avatar ImagePompleMoose says: YES! I'm not looking at any pictures, or clips or anything from DH so its all a surprise, but that sounds AWESOME!Avatar Imagecghambright says: @splinch: What do you mean? They're not even close to finishing filming yet...I'm sure Mad-eye's death will be in the movie. The majority of the chase sequence is probably in the sky, but obviously that has to be filmed at Leavesden in front of a green screen because the actors Can't fly. Avatar ImageLuce_depp says: WHAT!!!!!!! this sucks if they have this on the ground i will be so angry!!Avatar Imageforgetmenot_007 says: I'm SURE the chase will be in the SKY! (please be so,please be so......)Avatar ImageMattOM93 says: there is probably only a slight portion of the chase on the ground, they cant possibly make it all on the ground, itll be just like any other cop movieAvatar Imagedoublecore says: You know they may film it and then add blue screen and it will look like they are flying. Could be or then again maybe i am just wishing for it to be so. It doesn't really matter the next two movies will be great and i can't wait for the long 30 minute battle, and not my daughter bitch seen :)Avatar ImageTasyaWeasley says: gosh ! i cant believe this :DDAvatar Imagesianletley says: We well have 2 wait and see how it all turns out Avatar Imagechampion_of_commoners says: wow, i really hope voldemort is chasing them in a bright yellow corvette! and then afterwards all the Order members can say, astonished, "you-know-who can DRIVE now??!!" :-DAvatar Imagesplinch says: @cghambright I'm pessimistic. did you happen to see hbp? he cut the first 2 chapters of the book and put harry hitting on a waitress in a train station.....nothing is sacred to this man. i know its not going to be like the book, but hes proven to me he doesnt care about being ANYTHING like the book.Avatar Imageginnyrose says: Squee this look fab hope they sticking to the book this time Avatar Imagesplinch says: "sqee this look fab hope they sticking to the book this time" T H E Y A R E D R I V I N G lay off the butterbeer.Avatar ImageHarryRichardsPotter says: amazing! just like the philosopher's stone! I hope Harry does the whole Accio Hagrid thing, because that's one of the key parts to this film i think. Plus Hedwig and Mad-Eye's deaths best not be a HUGE thing, because there not in the books, it happens really fast so i don't want it to be like "OMG HEDWIG! NOOOO *CRIES*" yeah, hes an absaloute legend, but hes a bloody bird. Don't cry, because there's plenty of crying bits in this. Tonks and Lupin, Dobby and Voldemort. Poor Tom, why did he have to die?!! I'm joking.Avatar ImageHarryRichardsPotter says: haha, i meant key part to this scene. Not the whole film, haha sorry :)Avatar Imageliv-wa says: [: I'm kind of sad that we lose the flying, but on account of this will look more real, and have a greater effect on screen I guess I'll live. Plus, we still get the scene don't we? [:Avatar Imagejustanargle says: wow!!! soooooo cool! Avatar Imagejustanargle says: wow!!! soooooo cool! Avatar Imageoldharrypotterfan says: I hope that this film is closer to the book than the HBP was. I was very disappointed with that film. It was like he took four or five parts of the book and made up the rest.Avatar Imagewandmastercalum says: OMG this isn't magic!!!Avatar Imagecghambright says: The FLYING WILL BE IN THE MOVIE!! We're not going to have pictures of that because it will be filmed at Leavesden. They probably just added a part where they end up on the freeway to make it even MORE suspenseful. But they definitely fly. what's the point of a "flying motorbike" if it DOESN'T fly?!Avatar Imagewandmastercalum says: I had an idea that maybe they do fly but instead of making Harry and Hagrid crash they just land somewhere and have to drive the rest of the way. I hope they do that at least. It would be cool to watch.Avatar Imagecghambright says: @splinch: Well Steve Kloves has written the script for every Potter film except one and I think he's done a brilliant job so far. And he Does keep in alot. Pretty much every scene in HBP was in the book (give or take a few) but I agree ALOT was missing but that's because HBP was a tricky book to adapt because so many of the scenes are memories and it's a very emotional book, but I still think they did a great job capturing the overall theme. It sets up Deathly Hallows like it's suppose to do. Avatar ImageFluffsy says: you guys i'm sure this is just a small bit of the chase, dont freak out!! maybe it's the beginning of the chase or something.... they'll probably do the whole flying scene in the studio... so we wont be seeing anything!!Avatar ImageDobbyWinkyKreacher says: The real HP and Hagrid are surely going to be in DH?Avatar ImageWicked_Lady says: Lol! Maybe they start off on the road and then take to the sky? Hopefully! But this looks great!Avatar ImageDobbyWinkyKreacher says: sighs...I hope very, very much that Deathly Hallows 1 and 2 will be true to the book. PLEASE.Avatar Imagesmgkkg says: O I hope that don't have that scene totally on the ground. Come on folks! I know that can't actually make it fly. Do the sequence justice!!!Avatar ImagePaintTheSky says: I agree with those that believe this is just part of the sequence and much will still take place in the sky. They'll probably land and zoom through this tunnel or possibly zoom out and soar into the sky, now wouldn't that be cool?Avatar Imageoldenoughtoknowbetter says: Looks great... I hope they are having them fly for part of the sequence... sigh... guess in order to get exactly what we want... we have to do the movies...Avatar ImageLooie says: That will look cool on screen! But I hope they still have the flying sequence!!!Avatar Imageaxlgirl says: Yay for Sirius' motorbike! But if the whole chase is on the road - I'm going to KILL someone. Probably Yates.Avatar ImageHinkypunkmum says: Nothing wrong with setting up a little drama on the ground beforehand... perhaps this is how Harry and Hagrid escape after being completely ambushed in the sky.'s a beginning set-up. I am withholding judgement pending further investigation ! LOl !Avatar ImageMoose_Starr says: The pics are totally cool ... it's just great seeing Sirius's motorcycle again. Even just looking at the pics of them driving through the oncoming vehicles is exciting. I'm sure that they will film the flying scenes some other time :sAvatar Imagesueml says: Come now folks - once again we get a couple pictures and everyone is freaked out. My guess is that the motorcycle starts off on the ground and soars into the sky, like PaintTheSky said. Just enjoy the pics and relax - otherwise you're all going to have ulcers by the time 2010 rolls along!Avatar ImageHudMug1712 says: they probably have got some bits in the sky but on one part hagrid tries to lose them by driving on the roadAvatar ImageGarden State Geek says: Knowing this lot, they probably changed the bike to a Harley chopper -- just so it would be completely different from the first movie. Avatar ImageGarden State Geek says: And one hopes, at some point, they become airborne!Avatar Imagex_Potter_Lover_Forever_x says: YAY!! This looks really awesome. I cannot wait for DH to be released!!! :D :D :D Avatar ImageParkinsonpansy says: i forgot about that in Dh. :)Avatar ImageWON_TWO says: Zoom zoom....Avatar Imageskafkas says: I do hope that the chase ends up in the sky at some point, but a chase on the ground is sort of reminiscent of the postcard that Jo wrote about James and Sirius being chased by the muggle police.Avatar ImageTschudiff says: Wow, that's really cool!!Avatar ImageRavenclaw98 says: yes cant wait!!!Avatar Imageabandonedboyjon says: I would bet a pair of merlin's baggiest y fronts that they fly at some point. Avatar ImageFancyPants says: So I suppose this won't be a flying sequence then! Shame I can see this being as good as the fight scene at the end of hBPAvatar Imagemuggle..andproudofit says: wow i really hope they don't mess up Dh Avatar ImageMaryiam says: it's gotto be very cool. i can't wait to watch the movie!!!!!Avatar ImageMrs.Brisby says: Umm, surely they are going to be flying at some point... this is Harry Potter not Beverly Hills Cop. Avatar Imagelalashamo says: @cghambright How can you say they set up DH? What about knowing what the other horcruxes are? It was enough of a stretch for us to think Harry could find them in the book, but he knows nothing of the cup, nagini, or something of ravenclaws or gryffindors. My guess is they will ruin this film like they do all the others (ruin from a Harry Potter standpoint. HBP was a very entertaining movie, but not a Harry Potter movie other than a few vague similarities)Avatar ImageJohn-Robert says: hey its batman all over again. aight guys, lets all settle down. itll probably be like 2 seconds on the ground and then they fly into the sky.Avatar Imagemouse68 says: Potterfans overreacting and judging a film before it is completed - some things never change.Avatar ImageMatea says: I just hope they're gonna fly!!!!!!!!!!!!Avatar ImageNeil in Scotland says: I'm worried about this now. So much happened during that chase and a lot of it has to be in the air!! Also, my gut is telling me that by doing it this way they aren't including the Seven Potters and that would be awful.Avatar Imageccking says: i am going to cry when hedwig dies. Avatar Imageccking says: no they might just be driving preparing to take off, they're going to wrong way on the road so. plus the bike doesn't really fly so that would be done in a studio.Avatar ImageYodatheHobbit says: I can honestly say that most HP fans are the most negative of all fantasy fandoms. It saddens me. They always expect the worst based on such little information. Avatar Imagefelicitas says: Sweet! I can't wait!Avatar ImagePineappleCrush says: This looks cool, but I really really hope that they fly at some point.... maybe it was just a decoy tactic that they would blend-in(ish) instead of flying like everyone else. I will be crushed if there isn't any flying though... how would they do Mad-eye's death then? It still looks neat; very exciting!Avatar ImageYodatheHobbit says: You don't NEED to hope they fly! WE ALREADY KNOW THEY FLY! :@Avatar ImagePineappleCrush says: @YodatheHobbit, yeah, I've noticed that, too. There's probably a lot that goes into why HP fans can be really negative; a lot of it is probably an innate dedication to the books, but that doesn't mean they have to be so negative :( The movies could be A LOT worse, we should be thankful that they're even making movies to begin with and that, on the whole, they've done a pretty good job of recreating the world of Harry Potter.Avatar Imageraven_puff says: YES! Im so excited that the bike is back! I hope they plan on filming the bike flying, and not just on the ground.Avatar Imagebudgie says: With Death Eaters able to fly without brooms, a bike on the ground would have no chance. It barely did flying. They could do some blue screen and superimpose the swerves into the sky for a film if they want to though.Avatar ImageZiadM says: WOW we can actually see it again!! :)Avatar ImageGarden State Geek says: Movie-making is a business -- like any others. The films are made to reach the widest audiences possible. When photos and other information become public, I feel entitled to make smart aleck jokes. I'm not being mean-spirited or negative -- I'm joking about how the films' of conventions have changed over the years. And let's be honest, we've been blanketed by publicity for the DH movies for months and months now. And having Harry and Hagrid on the road? Now that would be ... hem hem ... unusual. :-)Avatar ImageGarden State Geek says: I have no idea why my previous comments have strike-through lines in them. Sorry. Avatar Imagebeewell says: No matter how they do it, I think it will be marvelous! The next two movies are going to knock our socks off! (I sure do hope so!)Avatar ImageHarryLoony says: You guys are a nervous! YATES IS STICKING TILL THE END...HE'S THE BEST OF THE BEST...DH WILL ROCK AND HBP WAS AMAZING! Just live with it!Avatar ImageHarryLoony says: You guys are a nervous! YATES IS STICKING TILL THE END...HE'S THE BEST OF THE BEST...DH WILL ROCK AND HBP WAS AMAZING! Just live with it!Avatar ImageAelaeras says: This is going to be amazing =]Avatar Imagelau399 says: This is so awesome!!! I hope the seven potters is on the movie!!! Avatar ImageTriple_S says: I really can't wait to see how they pull off that sequenceAvatar Imageravensmith says: accio hagrid!Avatar ImageGarden State Geek says: The following is a joke: I hope they have Mollie and Bellatrix meet for coffee at the mall instead of duel to the death. Might be a nice changeup. ;-)Avatar ImageHPNAIV says: :] yayAvatar Imagegoodenough says: Yeahy! This is going to be such an amazing sceen. Do you think they will show Harry blowing up Hedwig? aww.. poor Hedwig.Avatar ImageGryffindor1997 says: there not going to fly??? thats sucks. they just keep taking stuff out. i bet that they are going to have voldemort kill harry instead of the other way around.Avatar ImageMushMania says: WHY O WHY ARE THEY ON THE GROUND!!! Nooooo! at first i thought they were driving to the set then i realized Why o why would they let the actors drive the props?!Avatar ImageWingardium Leviosa says: I hope this doesn't mean they won't be flying, I was hoping for an airborne action-chase scene. :-(Avatar Imagegryffindor1991 says: cool! I cant wait to see the 7 Potters scene. it should be awesome.Avatar ImageBeAchL0veEr05 says: I wish they were flying, but still awesome!!! :DAvatar ImageAwakened says: Hopefully it won't all be on the ground, but still sounds cool.Avatar ImageAmy Darlene says: I actually hope we get to see Hermione as Harry... and Ron as Harry as opposed to hearing about it later and poor George's ear being cursed off it's actually pretty smart to have the motorcycle on the ground (at least for a bit) perhaps harry throws down instant darkness powder and they go airborne (truth... i hope the Anglia shows up and just randomly runs over a few spiders and almost rescues Hagrid and that is when he is kidnapped by the Death Eaters.... We need to see that vehicle too. That would make me soooo happy)Avatar ImageAmy Darlene says: *giggles* or better yet the Anglia goes after Death Eaters or even Voldy himself ... and then later we see it almost run over Dawlish and Luna pulls him out of the way pats him on the head and gives him a chocolate kiss. Avatar ImageBwaySaint says: You guys, I'm pretty sure the flying scenes are done on a SOUNDSTAGE in front of a blue or green screen. Calm down. :) I'm sure it will be fantastic.Avatar ImageBwaySaint says: ...and seriously, folks, learn the business of filmmaking, please! They'll capture the necessary shots outdoors (this is probably for, like, 5 seconds of film time) and then capture the flying bits INDOORS in front of the blue or green screen because they'll need the rigging, harnesses, etc, in order to capture the flying correctly (and then add the exterior backgrounds in post.) Seriously, calm down!!! :) Avatar ImageJodiie15 says: YES!! I'm looking forward to this scene xDDAvatar ImageAndreaB09 says: Wait, Why is he going towards traffic, not with it? Thats a death waiting to happen lol. Avatar Imageroonwit says: A vehicle going against oncoming traffic is a bit of a film cliche, but it might work if they fly for most of the chase (though they are going to break the statute of secrecy pretty badly landing and taking off). I half hope they use Sirius and James' method of stopping death eaters from the 700 word prequel, but that might not work if the death eaters are doing their black smoke trick rather than flying on brooms. My worry is that when the film makers change things it hardly ever works as well and fits as well as the original text from the books, though I guess the demands of film making mean that they have to make a chase scene varied and exciting.Avatar ImageX-Lillie-Lovegood-X says: WOW! My only problem is that its coming closer and closer to the end and I want it all to SLOW DOWN!! DELAY THE MOVIE I DONT CARE!! xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxAvatar ImageGryffindor100 says: I can't wait! I hope that it is mostly in the sky (but doesn't look fake) and that they do have a big battle scene. I'm sure I'll like it either way but this will make it better! =DAvatar ImageEmmaCMF says: Blimey, I wish people would chill out a little. So there's a chase scene that takes place on the ground - big deal! That doesn't mean that the airbourne chase scene won't take place, or that they'll ignore Mad-Eye's death, or that there won't be Seven Potters (Seven Potters is filming in the next couple of weeks, so that's in, at least). The film has to be visually exciting - they have to show us, rather than tell us, and that means action setpieces have to be written in, much like the 'trio almost get hit by a bus' scenes from the London shoot earlier in the year. It's WAY too early to fret - though I guess that's the drawback of a film that has a lot of location shooting - we're seeing photos much earlier than we have previously. I have every confidence that they're going to do Deahtly Hallows properly. EVERYBODY is in it, from Charity to Doge, Mundungus to Krum - they have five hours to film this, and I think they're going to go all out.Avatar Imagebella vita says: I have only one thing to say and its that I better see that damn motorbike FLY! That's all.Avatar Imagenomesters says: Wait, why is there all this freaking out about the scenes being on the ground and not including flying? Don't get me wrong, I would freak out too, but do these pictures of stunt stuff for that scene being shot mean that the scenes will be on the ground in the movie?? Maybe the stuff will be shot on the ground and then in the movie it will be shown as in the air. I mean really, they have done flying for the movies before, why would they cut it out? That is dumb. This is Harry Potter, and that flying scene is important. Avatar ImageGinaC says: Oh yeah, I feel certain the airborne part will be there. As a matter of fact, it sounded to me like they might have been shooting the airborne scene when Dan's stunt double got so terribly injured. Still, the article did say that more will be shot at Leavesden, and I can only imagine that means the airborne parts. Ahh, it's great to see Harry and Hagrid on the motorbike again, leaving for the last time in the same manner he arrived for the first time! :)Avatar ImagePigmyPuffPie says: It's not quite like seeing the traditional Hagrids hut pic, but close.Avatar Imagemaimiaa says: hmm interesting looking. hopefully it comes out goodAvatar ImageRemsyLuck says: I don't care that we just got HBP, this movie can't come out soon enough! I wonder if the filming in the other locations will have them flying on the motobike... let us hope. SIRIUS! HEDWIG!!Avatar ImageGTHunter says: how do you get a stunt double for hagrid??? what is his name>Avatar ImageJadeDanielle says: I'm glad it's back! But why on earth are they not flying it? Just curious!Avatar Imagehepburn says: Woo! I'm also glad it's back! :)Avatar Imagefloridianhp says: i thought the bike was black not white and arent they suossed to be flying??Avatar ImageLargeBlondDeathEater says: @splinch "I’m pessimistic. did you happen to see hbp? he cut the first 2 chapters of the book and put harry hitting on a waitress in a train station…..nothing is sacred to this man. i know its not going to be like the book, but hes proven to me he doesnt care about being ANYTHING like the book." Are you kidding me?! You complain about the two chapters he excluded but DISREGARD the 200 chapters he INCLUDED? Pathetic.Avatar Imagesyler123 says: I know they show them driving on the ground and not in the air. so don't assume it will stay like that in the movie. They will probably do the flying part as well. It could be the part where the bick malfunctions or they need speed before it flys. or a clear street so they don't break wizarding code.Avatar ImageLargeBlondDeathEater says: Is anyone else annoyed that since we don't see any Death Eaters in the picture, they'll just use the annoying black smoke again? YAWN. I want to see actual HUMAN Death Eaters, not random indistinguishable black smoke.Avatar ImageKimberlyZ says: oh that means that they are keeping the 7 potters scene!!! So happy! Avatar ImageRemusRox says: Bringing back the motorbike AND dobby!! Can I dare to hope that maybe they'll include SOMETHING explaining who the maruaders were? Avatar ImageHermione Elizabeth says: I wish they were flying like in the book.... makes things seem more dangerous since they are in the air. But still cool pics!Avatar ImageCandyCane2304 says: People complaining you do know that the flying part will take place in the studio?Avatar ImageRoseann says: I hope they do not ruin all the good scenes for the last movie. I do not understan why they cant have everyone flying like in the book. oh well. RoarAvatar Imageroonwit says: @LargeBlondDeathEater The lack of death eaters isn't significant, because unless they have gone muggle and are following in a car they will have to add them on later, whether they are doing the black smoke thing or on broomsticks.Avatar Imageiloveeeharrypotter says: what? there not flying?!Avatar ImageLilleby says: RemusRox: Nah, if they include it, then it's gonna be on the PoA Extended Version. The scene in the Shrieking Shack was cut down(:Avatar ImageLilleby says: Okay people!!! Why do you all complain about them not flying?!? THIS IS THE REAL WORLD - THEY. CAN. NOT. FLY. THE FLYING IS GONNA BE FILMED IN THE STUDIO!!! can't believe everyone freaks out about it! (:Avatar ImageLilly-Angel1 says: I will be REALLY mad if they leave the flying part out....Stupid, DUMB David Yates....CURSE HIM INTO OBLIVION!!!!! *CRUCIO!* *AVADA KEDAVRA!*Avatar ImagetheREALGinnyWeasley says: Yay!!! SO happy that they put it back in!!!!! Cant wait for DH!!!!!!Avatar ImageTeresa_Nemo says: lol That's awesome!Avatar Imagegryffindor1991 says: it better be in the sky or ill be peed off. maybe the chase will start off on the ground then move to the sky. Harry and Hagrid could stay on the ground while the others fly. After the Death Eaters attack maybe they will move to the sky until they get to the Tonks' and HAgrid jumps off of the bike. It would be stupid to have the whole thing on the ground because the muggles will be crashing after seeing all of that. Avatar Image3 Weasly Twin says: I can't wait to see the scene in the movie! I'm sure it'll be awesome, either way.Avatar Imagejediofthelost says: There Will Be A Angry Mob At The Filming Gates If It Is Not In The Air!Avatar Imagemouse68 says: "Also, my gut is telling me that by doing it this way they aren’t including the Seven Potters and that would be awful." The Seven Potters IS being included. David Heyman SAID two weeks ago it was being included. In fact it will be shot in the next couple of weeks. Seriously, people. You need to chill and stop reacting to every little thing, and often it's for no reason. For an example, you all overreacted to the comment made by Lupin about "the Dark Lord is training Draco Malfoy for a mission", thinking they had changed it so the Order knew. Now you have all seen the film you know he was just repeating what Harry said, just like in the book. Calm down. We have a long way to go until next November. Plus, I am fairly certain they have already done some stunt rehearsals for the Seven Potters scenes, I seem to remember hearing about an aerial sequence months ago. Avatar ImageTom riddles girl says: sucks that it won't be flying but at least its in the movieAvatar ImageCarol Carvalho says: What the heck???? Not flying?.... this is going to suck!.....Avatar ImageWolfyWizard says: This is so cool, im sure that only part of it will be on the ground. hopefully it'll mostly be in the air as in the bookAvatar Imageharrypottergirlll says: I can totally tell it's not really Dan and Robbie! Despite that Harry double looked back =PAvatar ImageBwaySaint says: OMG, Leaky, can you please put an article up once it is CONFIRMED that the flying is in (like half of us already KNOW here on the boards since the rest of the filming of the seven Potters is happening in a few weeks at Leavesden) so the rest of the folk can CALM DOWN!?! lol I mean, honestly, people, DO YOU NOT READ THE COMMENTS!? Over half of us have stated the FLYING IS IN as clearly indicated by David Heymen and Leavesden - this portion is probably for TWO SECONDS OF SCREEN TIME! (Believe me, I DO film work, you can work ALL day for 10 seconds of film!) Please...calm...down. :) :) Avatar ImageBrosia23 says: Every day, I see more news and details that make me excited about Deathly Hallows. They are having all of the needed characters, indicating that the plot will be much closer to the book; they are seeming to fill the holes left by the removal of plot points from past movies; and now they are seeming to do the chase sceen closer to right. Yeah!!!!Avatar ImageThe Hufflepuff Giraffe says: I love Harry in that little side-car. SQUEE, I can't wait!Avatar ImageJohn-Robert says: im pretty sure that they'll start off on the ground and then fly into the air. anyways, why in the world would the film flying outside? they'd do that infront of a greenscreen in a studio as they did quidditch. Avatar Imageker9189 says: I have a huge problem with these pictures. I thought they were supposed to be flying. If they change that I am going to be wicked upset. I mean what is supposed to happen to hedwig? you know.Avatar Imagemnikka says: I can't wait. XDAvatar Imagehermyone08 says: very cool pictures, i'm sure they'll have to film the flying scenes in the studio, they wouldn't be able to film those out in the open like the pictures we're seeing right nowAvatar ImagePhylis says: I will be interested in how this plays out in the movie. Hope we do get the battle in the sky.Avatar Imageplacebowiz says: yayAvatar Imagemoglet says: I'm sure they will also be flying, but they will have to do that at the studio in front of a green screen, so we won't be seeing that!Avatar ImageFloridianFlounder95 says: I can't wait to see it! Ooh just a few more months to go! :D (Kidding))Avatar Imagealegria35 says: Yey!!.. excited for this scene. Just reading the DH again, and this will be awesome.Avatar ImageTommy K says: agree with forgetmenot_007 Avatar ImageCellar Door says: I really hope the chase is in the sky. Otherwise it would be really underwhelming.Avatar ImageMidnightSun321 says: AWESUM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! car chase!!!!!!!!!!!! yayyyy!!! :D:D:D:D:D:D:D:DAvatar ImagePrisoner Of Azkaban says: They are on the ground. Well, that's werid. I hope they don't eff this up like they did with the HBPAvatar ImageRedbeard says: Ugh, Typical Potter fanatics. they see three pictures and already they're like like: "OMG! They are supposed to fly but they're just driving on the highway! OMG! This movie is totally ruïned, I hate David Yates!! First he makes Tonks' hair purple instead of pink and now this!" Please get a grip. If you litteraly want the book on the screen, just download the book and read in on the screen. Jo Rowling respects the changes in the films, why can't you?Avatar ImageAsta says: i hope its really good....Avatar Imagearutzen says: Sooooo... Death Eaters and Order members can fly buuuut... Sirius' flying motorcycle can't? I HATE YOU DAVID YATES!! *sad sad sigh*Avatar ImageHeavenly_Horcrux says: I love the seven Potters part! I can't wait to see it!Avatar ImageNochthikus says: Awesome!Avatar Imagepotterfan4lyfe says: cant wait 2 see this scene even though hedwig dies in itAvatar ImageCandyCane2304 says: Some of you are overreacting. They can't do the flying scenes until they are in the studio. Does it look like they are in the studio? Avatar Imagemoony_lupin says: Good to see Sirius' motorbike again. I believe like many others that the flying shots will be done in the studio on a rig and green screen. I would like to see how they do that dragon smoke thing that Arthur added onto the motorbike. Avatar ImageHorcruxalej says: sweet its sad now we have to start the count down till DH so long awayAvatar ImageMorgana_Black says: squeeeeee!!!!!!!! im so excited....oh gosh im going to SOB in that scene...hedwig!!!!!! and moody of courseAvatar Imagehallowgirl says: But DH needs flying scenes...Avatar ImageDraco_Fan says: Can't wait!Avatar ImageDiamondWings says: really cool!!!Avatar ImageFereverto says: I'm going to take Dan Radcliffe's advice and keep my expectations low so that I won't be disappointed! LOL. If the DH screenplay is as loosely based on the book as HBP was, then there will be loads of stuff we don't recognize in there and possibly some stuff that is near and dear will be sorely absent. See, with my low expectations, I'm bound to be happy! :DAvatar ImageDragonFury says: I really hope it's in the sky!Avatar ImageBwaySaint says: I swear to GOD that some fans need to read through ALL OF THE COMMENTS before posting yet another "OMG! I HATE THIS MOVIE ALREADY! THEY AREN"T FLYING!?! I HATE YOU DAVID YATES!!" Because, HELLO, they still need to film the REMAINDER OF THE SCENE (yes, FLYING AND ALL!) IN THE STUDIO! Sheesh. I don't know how some of us can repeat it anymore...Avatar Imagemouse68 says: BwaySaint you said exactly what i was just thinking, lol. These people who are ranting and raving clearly don't read any comments before they post their uninformed little rants. Avatar ImageNot Slytherin says: Clues, hints, speculation!!! I LOVE IT!Avatar ImageiLoveDolores says: gonna be awesome :D :D Avatar ImageRosemunde says: I am so happy the motorbike is in the movie! I am hoping that most people are right about the flying bits not having been filmed yet. It will lose so much of the drama without that.Avatar ImageBoyWithALightningScar says: Wow, and already the complainers come out shouting that the film is ruined. Sometimes, I just can't help but shake my head at the overreactions on here.Avatar ImageFlora Lovegood says: oh thank goodness! My younger son constantly asks to see "the one with Hagrid's flying motorcycle" which lasts about 30 secs in SS...he will love seeing it again!Avatar Imageauerbyhour says: yeaaaa :DAvatar ImageCalynthe says: It's the motorbike!Avatar ImagecrazyforSeverus says: Woah! This sounds so awesome. I think it would be cool if the motorbike did weave in and out of traffic on the ground for a little while (like the Knight bus) before taking off into the air. I think a combination of both would be awesome.Avatar ImagetaystarHP says: OMG I LOVE DH. This is diffinitly one scene I am DYING to see.Avatar ImageGiant Squid says: cool! i hope it will be in the air!!!!
