Some exciting news today out of Boston, where our own Melissa Anelli is attending press day for the opening of Harry Potter, the Exhibition in Boston. As reported previously Matt Lewis is at the event, and our Melissa brings word that Matt will begin filming scenes for the battle of Hogwarts in his role as Neville Longbottom starting next week for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, and he notes the script and the scenes are going to be fantastic. He describes Neville as ‘battle-hardened veteran’ and is looking forward to the film. Also early word too that Neville will have a leaner look this film (and no more fat suit for Matt) as Neville has lost a bit of weight due to the conditions of the war. Over 70 new photos, thanks to our friends at Feltbeats.com are now available here in our image galleries (including this of Matt and the Mimbulus Mimbletonia in the Gryffindor Common Room, Matt at the Mandrake Station -no earmuffs either! and Melissa with Matt). Update: We now have the audio interviews from today including Matt Lewis. In addition to speaking on Deathly Hallows, Matt gives his thoughts on the Exhibition, and talks about the Mandrakes (notable in Chamber of Secrets with Professor Sprout and Neville) as well as the Forbidden Forest and much more. Enjoy!
