Here is a rather delicious bit news today, as Entertainment Weekly and MTV report that actor Dan Radcliffe (Harry Potter) will lend his voice for the hit animated series "The Simpson." In what is sure to be a sparkling performance ;) Dan will sport fangs of a sort for a parody episode based on the mega hit Twilight series where he will portray a character named Edmund (yes, really) "a boy vampire whom Lisa falls for. Unfortunately for the
Twilight-crossed lovers, Homer and Dracula -- Edmund's dear, old dad --
don't approve of the union, and they endeavor to put a stop to it." This episode will air next fall as part of the Simpson's " "Treehouse of Horror XXI" triptych, the series' yearly Halloween special."
No word if Werewolves or Bella will make an appearance ;0 Thanks so much Radcakes fan!
Interesting….I rememeber that in Dan’s biography there was a word about him loving Simpsons and parents didn’t letting him watch them , I think it was the happiest moment of his life , the moment when he became the part of the thing he loved as a kid !!
@alicia00 There is no Harry Potter in it. This is a Twilight parody with Dan as the vampire. That’s what is ironic and a joke in itself. We have a small Harry Potter joke in another episode but it’s not newsworthy seeing that every show makes HP references.
@owanalilypotter[ROAR] The Treehouse of Horror episode is always aired around Halloween. Usually it is the first Sunday of November, but this year it was early on Oct 18. It is affected by the sports schedule. Basically though, Sunday nights at 8pm on FOX.
I don’t have television (I have a t.v., mind you, as well as a dvd player, but I don’t have television) but this is exactly the sort of thing that would make me cave and give in to the Evil Cable/Satellite Blood Suckers. Ah well, I have a year to decide whether or not to sell out to The Man. :)
