Actor Robert Pattinson is attending the Academy Awards tonight in Los Angeles. Earlier this week, rumors were rife Robert (Hufflepuff Great Cedric Diggory in GoF, Edward in Twilight) was due to present at the Oscars, and you can see early photos of Rob at the event, here via WireImage.
Update: Robert introduced a feature on Romance seen in films during the past year.

I don’t think Rob Pattinson knows what to make of all the attention he’s getting from the media. Hollywood seems determined to make him the next hot young stud. I don’t think he’s comfortable with it and that may be why he seems awkward at times. But I agree – he did look good!

He looked great! I think he was nervous. He also looked nervous in the pre-show, red carpet footage. And, yes, as KB stated, he’s not all the comfortable with his fame, yet!

He was sitting catty corner to Mickey Rourke, and I was afraid he was going to attack him. I mean, seriously, he looks just as pallid and creepy in real life.

he looked really really good while presenting! He looked a bit awkward sitting behind Rourke lol..he was trying to act all cool calm and collected. but again, he looked really really good!

On the red carpet yesterday he told the interviewers he was really nervous and fumbled his lines 3 times during rehersal so its understandable. Weird thing about Robert is I only find him hot in a moving image. In one picture he never looks good, but when you see him filmed he’s gorgeous. Guess you just have to see him in action not still life… did any of that make sense?
