During a press event held today in London, England before the UK premiere of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, actor Rupert Grint made some new comments about his recent bout with Swine Flu. As we reported the other day, Rupert had a mild bout of the deadly flu, but is well on the way to recovery and will attend the official premiere of the sixth Harry Potter film tomorrow in London, England. Speaking to reporters today, Rupert stated:

"It was quite scary when I first found out I had swine flu," he said at a press conference with other Potter actors including Emma Watson in London."I thought 'Am I going to die?' But it was just like any other flu really.""I had a sore throat and I went to bed for a few days."

I was freaking out when I first heard about this yesterday! I kept saying to myself he is going to make it and thought about what would happen if he didn’t. I know, I’m weird! I’m just glad he’s okay!!

A few freakin’ days? Man, when I had the regular non-swine flu I was down for a week and a half!

Anyway, I want a comment from Emma. She did have to do a kissing scene with him just a while ago…

If you look at the deaths from the Swine flu you will notice almost all of them are people who have other health problems that complicate the illness. Healthy folks are not dying from it.
