Avatar ImageThe_Ghost_On_Third says: Congrats!!! and firstAvatar ImageMr. Brightside says: His portrayal was good but i'm not sure if it is an award winning one. Best of luck though to Mr. Gambon!Avatar ImageBoyWithALightningScar says: Yes! He really was good in his last big HP movie. Congrats!Avatar Imagepottersocks says: he did an amazing job in hbp and he deserves it!Avatar Imagecghambright says: I thought Gambon was very impressive in all the HP films, especially HBP! He really brought to life all the dimensions of Dumbledore's character. I think Jim Broadbent also deserves some recognition for his role as Slughorn. He was pretty awesome too. Avatar ImageZephyrFool says: That is competition, but I think he has a very good chance.Avatar Imagemissdelbridge says: Congrats! Did a very good job :)Avatar ImageWON_TWO says: I don't like his chances, but wish him luck!Avatar ImageHermione Elizabeth says: I think he finally did well in HBP compared to the other movies. I wish him luck on winning! :)Avatar Imagealicia00 says: sweetAvatar Imagevespasian68967 says: Have they been watching the same Michael Gambon as I have? He was marginally sufficient in HBP but that's because he had nowhere else to go but up from GOF & OOTP.Avatar ImageDawna says: HBP was his best Dumbledore portrayal. Please post results for us!Avatar ImageZivlok says: DID YOU PUT YOUR NAME ON THE IRISH FILM AND TELEVISION AWARDS SHORTLIST? DID YOU? DID YOU?Avatar ImageBoyWithALightningScar says: I know not everyone's in love with his portrayal of Albus Dumbledore, but to me he truly pulled it off. Avatar ImageNot Slytherin says: "DID YOU PUT YOUR NAME ON THE IRISH FILM AND TELEVISION AWARDS SHORTLIST? DID YOU? DID YOU?" LOL, Dawlish and the Archies - you made my morning!!! :o) Congrats, Gambon.Avatar ImageFifi says: Congrats Michael Gambon! I don't think he was very good in GoF, he was OK in OotP but he was briilliant in HBP.Avatar Imagesanjuangelina says: He is a very good actor and deserves the award, way to go Mr. Gambon!!!!! Hurray!!!!Avatar ImagePollytomat says: Dumbledore will use some magic spells (maybe even Confundus) and will win! But seriously, Michael Gambon is the best! ;) "Snape-Snape-Snape Dumbledore!!!!"Avatar Imagehermione97 says: Congrats!! You deserve this. :)Avatar ImageGiant Squid says: Mr. Gambon, you definitely deserve this! Avatar ImageRossonera says: I love him as Dumbledore. Actually is hard for me see Richard Harris (R.I.P) doing a scene like the fight in ministry with Voldy or the Cave scene! Congrats! Avatar Imageblue_rogue says: Loved his performance in HBP. Dumbledore FTW!Avatar Imageronrules says: A very well done to Sir Michael, I hope he wins. He's the only HP cast member to have a corner on the Top Gear track named after him, too.Avatar Imagemadman1277 says: I think you spelled his name wrongAvatar Imagealicia00 says: sweeetAvatar Imagejacket says: Great job Mr.Gambon! I think he really improved and started to capture Dumbledore's atitude in HBP. but he never wear's Dumbledore's halfmoon glasses anymore.Avatar Imagemoglet says: I thought he was great in HBP and actually rather good in the Ministry fight with Voldemort in OOTP and also I really liked his performance in POA as Harry and Hermione returned after saving Buckbeak and Sirius and he was going down the stairs pretending he didn't know what they were talking about when they said they had done it. He has given Dumbledore that essential eccentric element to his character. I know Richard Harris looked much more like the Dumbledore we imagined but he was not able to invest him with the kind of energy that was needed, probably due to his failing health. Michael Gambon had to take on the character that we had already seen in two films, I think he was always going to find it hard to win some people over. I was impressed with him in HBP and hope to be similarly impressed with him in DH. I know Mr Gambon annoys some people with his approach (not reading the books) but he is an experienced and talented actor. He is a mischevious person and in interviews is renowned for telling tall tales and answering questions without necessarily telling the truth, he is great fun, much more interesting than the actors who can't wait to tell you every little detail of their lives.Avatar ImageTheRealSlytherinHeir says: Good luck!! We're all rooting for you!!Avatar ImageNumeroUnoFan says: awesome job hope he wins it allAvatar ImageNicci Weasley says: Hmm... I must admit I'm still not that happy with his portrayal... But he did better in this movie and he is definitely a great actor!Avatar Imagesnapevslaura says: aww he totally deserves this <3 I really do love Michael Gambon as Dumbledore :DAvatar Imagecheeserpleaser says: Congratulations to him for being nominated!Avatar ImageLoveTomRiddle says: Yay! He really deserved it, he played an amazing Albus. Compared to his protrayal of Dumbeldore in the Fifth. Do you remember the part in the hearing when he put his hands on his hip?? That was so un-Dumbeldore. But anyways, Michael Gambon was awesome in HBP!Avatar ImageErinM says: Good luck to you!Avatar Imagesnakems says: I wish him good luck. :)Avatar ImageJane_Potter says: Congrats!!!Avatar ImageHorcruxNoctus says: Well deserved!! I love Harris, but he lacked energy, not sure why so many people preferred him over Gambon. It said in more than one of the books how Dumbledore was always glowing and full of energy, extending his arms in welcome to his students as if nothing pleased him more... Gambon always hit that description right on the head, and sadly I never thought Harris (R.I.P.) was capable of that. Maybe in an old man sort of way, but lacking all the warm energy that my mind's eye Dumbledore always had in abundance.Avatar Imageacciohorcrux.hbp says: CONGRATS!!!did extraordinary in HP6....!!espcslly d one with the Inferis...!!!GOOD LUCK:)Avatar Imagewandmastercalum says: Well done Michael!!!Avatar ImageTheHeirOfSlytherin2 says: Good for him! I just simply can't imagine Richard Harris doing the battle scene with Voldemort in Order of the Phionex or him in the cave in Half-Blood Prince. I'm a little bit doubtful that his preformance is Award-Winning...Avatar ImageKami Malfoy says: I'm always happy to see HP actors getting recognized for their work. I think Michael Gambon's portrayal of Dumbledore was at it's best in Half-Blood Prince.
