RAFA Nominations for “Half-Blood Prince” Film, Public Voting Open Now

The Fourth Annual Richard Attenborough Film Awards are set to take place on January 28th, and feature a number categories which include nominations of the “Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince” film. The RAFA’s are the UK’s regional film awards and combine awards chosen by critics and UK film fans alike. First, MovieScope is reporting that the “Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince” film has been nominated for the British Film of the Year Award, which is presented in association with “The Alan Titchmarsh Show.” Voting for this category is now open and available via this link.
The sixth Potter film also garnered a nomination for the Film Of The Year award, sponsored by The List, along side a number of other major motion pictures from 2009. Voting in this category takes place here. Additionally, the film was recognized in the category of Best use of UK Locations in a Film (vote here), while the “Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince” film score by composer Nicholas Hooper was among the nominees for Classic FM’s Film Music of the Year Award.
