Avatar ImageFifi says: FIRST!! Wow, I wish I could go there!!! :DAvatar ImagetheREALGinnyWeasley says: ahahah I love Ellen. I'm SO excited to go!!!!!Avatar ImageHPNAIV says: These kids didn't even seem excited o_O There was no enthusiasm. I'm sure the rest of us would have been pissing our pants.Avatar Imagekroy18 says: Takes us *through* sorry I had to.... anyhow, I want to go!Avatar ImageWeasleyBoy says: They're always using kids to promote HP events but the main problem is that true hp fans are not kid anymore !!! Those kids don't care about the details in the park, details that will make us true fans crazy !!!!Avatar Imagejhangelgurl says: I know the kids didnt seem excited, but maybe they were just scared and nervous since they are on tv? Yes it would of been nice to have older people, but that's ok we'll all, hopefully, have our chance to go one day. =)Avatar Imagenowhere89 says: Looks soooo amazing!!! Not fair, those kids didn't even look excited...they weren't even born when HP came out!Avatar ImageFilmGirl27 says: I agree with WeasleyBoy, the kids are so unenthusiastic about it all. And Harry Potter isn't just for kids. >:( But great to see inside the park. I really want to go on that rollercoaster!Avatar ImageLadySidi says: Looks AWESOME!Avatar ImageScribbled says: Just that three-second shot of all the Quidditch supplies makes me want to spend at least 100 dollars... I am going to be so broke by the end of this.Avatar ImageToNkS_rip says: OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG. i <3 the beuxbatons and durmstrang stuff. and the woman is EXTREMELY annoyingAvatar ImageEmmaline10248 says: OMG!!!!!!!!!! OMG!!!!!!! cant wait to see more!!!!!!! Avatar ImageFatherGrimm says: I want to go!!!!! But yeah, Ellen kinda ruined it for them. I wanted to scream when she swiffered Dumbledore's desk. Avatar Imagefloridianhp says: ugg thts soo not fair how they get to go wen they dont even lyk understand the story or anything. uggg.Avatar ImageNargles18 says: omg, i just watched this on TV! :D it looks so cool, but those boys didn't seem very excited. i wish i could've replaced them.Avatar Imagespikester93 says: Oh i wish i could go tehre right now, its not fair they got to see it first :( and they weren't even at all the slightest bit enthusiastic.. :/ I love Ellen to bits, but please don't sweep Dumbledore's desk :( And it's true they weren't born when Harry Potter came out... and it's the effects and all the detail to the actual places from the films that get me excited besides the whole fact, that you can actually go to Hogwarts and Hogsmeade!?Avatar ImageMr. Brightside says: OMG! Some random kid go to see our park first! >.<Avatar ImageSnapeluvva says: I really wanna go but i'm afraid it's just going to be a lotta stuff to buy and not much else....Avatar Imagephoenixes are in ravenclaw says: it wasn't that great. How did they think that cotton candy was Amortentia?? Ahh well.... Still I would have had a geek attack!!!Avatar ImageEgor says: I'm excited about all of the effects and such, not about going to Hogwarts and Hogsmeade, because this is really a theme park first, so lots of merchandise and line queues and such, and a faithful recreation second. I think one of my biggest gripes with the merchandise is that it all has "Harry Potter" written on it. If you went to the "real" Hogsmeade, the products wouldn't have Harry's name on them. I'm still extremely excited to go though, and I'm definitely glad that we are getting what we are.Avatar ImageI love my Spectra Specs says: Watching this tonight :D If I was there when she did that 'spell' to remove their memories, I would've been like "Actually, it's pronounced Obliviate."Avatar Imagephoenixes are in ravenclaw says: I agree... It irks me so much when they put "Harry Potter" on everything... I really want them to sell Luna's raddish earrings!!!! That is the main thing that I will buy. That, a wand, and something Ravenclaw!!! :)Avatar ImagePhoenix1946 says: I just saw the clip on ellen. It was way too short, too much ellen and way too little of Hogsmead.Avatar ImageDlcohm7 says: I agree with all of you. Ellen is great, but not here. She ruined it by acting stupid, and not showing true Harry Potter fans the awe of it all. It's going to be amazing for us,so don't think of her being the only way to see it,thank goodness.I wouldn't go.I'm sure the boys if allowed, would have acted more excited. For us it will be sacred ground when we are there. Woo Hoo! Can't wait to see you all there! :)Avatar ImageFilmGirl27 says: Sorry for posting again but I'm so buying a wand (either my own, or if it's cheaper I'll just buy the replica of Harry's) a Gryffindor scarf, and a nice glass of butterbeer. Oh yes! :DAvatar ImageThe10thWeasley says: I feel extremely old saying this.... but reading what you guys wrote it is the truth that the big Harry Potter fans aren't exactly "kids anymore". More like 16-24 years old.... I'm the same age as Emma and Dan for gods sake! I like it for contests when they do different age ranges, for something like Harry Potter it is a lot more fair. Cause you know we have the parents who got into it through their kids, to 12 year olds whose siblings love for it rubbed off on them growing up, lol. The park does look amazing though. I see their keeping the image up of Beauxons being an all girl school. Does this mean there will be a bunch of Durmstrang boys whipping and pounding sticks around. @ Phoniexes are Ravenclaws too, I saw a pair of Radish earrings towards the end of the Exbinition's run in Boston for sale. Avatar ImageHermione Elizabeth says: That is so awesome! I watched the whole Ellen show today and those 2 kids are so lucky!!!!Avatar ImageRunwild101 says: I just got home and I'm going through all the posts and my wife just reminded me that I recorded all of the Ellens at Universal! SCORE! Hope to see all of you at the grand opening, I'll be the one in the Harry Potter T-shirt...LOLAvatar ImageNumeroUnoFan says: such an awesome experience wish i was young enough to go to the park with ellenAvatar ImageI love my Spectra Specs says: I thought there would be more on the actual show...dissapointed :( Still, really excited to go there for myself :)Avatar Imagehermy007 says: i saw this on t.v too! pretty sweet. lol when ellen had a flask of butterbeer and was swiggin it when they were walking around :)Avatar ImageMischief.Managed says: Haha I love Ellen! I can't wait to go!Avatar Imagetaoist1 says: Ellen is definitely not a Harry Potter fan. I didn't like video. She was making fun of things and stealing the kids enthusiasm. Sad.Avatar Imagegryffindor1991 says: this whole thing pissed me off... the candies the kids ate wasnt even love potions, it said what it was on the container. she called hogwarts "hogwash" and said it "looked like Oprah's house". INSULTING! and then she rode a swiffer, swiffered dumbledore's desk, made fun of the Fat Lady, danced like an IDIOT with the beauxbatons people, and asked if butterbeer was alcholic. those kids were not as excited as they shouldve been, i would have fainted when i walked in to hogsmeade and i would be going crazy the WHOLE TIME!Avatar Imageirishdancer says: It looks like the butterbeer didn't taste very good...if you notice the glasses did not get any emptier as the tour went on! It was the one initial sip...and there was no, "wow, this tastes good!" It kind of looks like it will be one big HP themed store...Avatar ImageBellatrixInPink says: I agree completely w/ Gryffindor1991 {ROAR!!!} Ellen couldn't possibly have cared less and she doesn't know the first thing about Harry Potter. Yesterday's show had her asking HP related questions in Know or Go and she SLAUGHTERED the word Gryffindor. Repeatedly. Had no clue what the word was or what it meant. And those kids today were unbelievably dull. Love potion candy...?? It said coconut ice or whatever!! And the one kid even said it tasted bad!!!! How can Universal/WB be happy about that airing on national television- the first kid to get to see the place and they think the candy tastes bad?? Any TRUE fan would've lost their minds seeing all that awesome stuff. I'm ready to burst into tears just thinking about it! So unfair and disappointing. I'm thinking of sending my thoughts to Ellen, for real, because that was pathetic.Avatar ImageBellatrixInPink says: And LOL at the Butterbeer also! The boy who thought the candy was bad looked ready to spit his Butterbeer out too! Seems nasty, unfortunately.Avatar ImageBellatrixInPink says: OKAY just one more thing. When she was "wiping their minds" at the end that also proved she knows zip about HP. Zip. This isn't Avatar, Ellen, you don't have to mutter a novel's worth of words in some bizarro language. Avatar ImageWendelin the Weird says: A little enthusiasm please, kids. Anyway it looks great! I Want to goooo!Avatar Imageclintisagain says: arghhhhhhh! im so mad at those kids!!! they were like, 2! just imagining how i would have been instead ahhhh... ellen would be so informed if it was me, those kids ahhh...... Avatar ImageHarryPotter90 says: it looks awesome!!!! Ellen is soo funny! haha i was laughing my butt off watching this. hahaAvatar Imageclintisagain says: hahahahah @BellatrixInPink *ROAR*Avatar Imagealicia00 says: wow cooolAvatar Imagephoenixes are in ravenclaw says: I think it would have gone over better if they had one of the kids be older, around their teens? The clip I think was geared for more of the population that isn't super fans like everyone who is giving an opinion on this clip. The jokes were a way to keep people interested in it that don't get into Harry Potter. The kids I guess seemed less enthusiastic because they probably scared or nervous to be there. They showed some of the main things and didn't show what I wanted to see at least. I want to see Filch's Emporieum (is that how you spell it???) but ah well. *Please bear with me these random thoughts about the park* It looked like the coconut ice "love potion" was somewhat like cotton candy. Are those the real mugs they will be serving you butterbeer in? It seems like there would be butterbeer sloshing everywhere. The Beauxbaton dancers were really cool. Same with the durmstrang people!!! It seems like they would get really hot performing in those costumes outside in Florida! I really want to buy raddish earrings! I hope they sell them there!! =D Avatar Imagepigmypuffa says: it looks incredibly amazing!!! i want to go there so badly!!!!! and ellen trying to dust dumbledore's office!!! arrghh!!!! no one should be allowed to do that!!! but it was a fun sneak-peak anyways.... ;)Avatar Imagehewy says: Loved being able to see it up close. Ellen and the kids left ALOT to be desired. It is not only the teens and 20 somethings that grew up with the books but us parents and grandparents that got into them (and some of us never got out) that would have given their eye teeth to do this spot on TV. And yes folks there will be a world of merchandizing going on, that you can take to the bank.Avatar ImageWickedLoz says: I was afraid this would happen.. There is nothing left of HP that is British anymore. Like those kids walking into Honeydukes and calling the sweets "candy". Yeah, in Orlando you call it "candy" but none of the characters call it "candy" because they're not American! Love Ellen though. She mentioned a couple of days ago she still hadn't read a HP book yet she still seems a lot more excited then those snooty kids. And why is it still children being targeted? Granted I know I'm now a little old (23) but get some teens at least, those kids weren't around for the HP buzz. Still don't think I'll go. Flights to the US are awfully expensive... Avatar Imagelevi-OH-sa not levio-SA says: she walked right by me when i was outside the rip ride rock it rollercoaster..i was like ahhh! its ellen! so cool! i didnt know she got to see the wiz world!Avatar ImageWeetzie says: It looks like this was just a normal everyday trip for them.. I would be so excited. And honeydukes looks exactly like in the movie! I wish one had to to wear a cloak or something to enter the park. It would be so fun if everyone looked like witches and wizards, but I guess it would be a bit hot perhaps.Avatar Imagemourn4marauders says: omg i am uber jealous of these kids!!!! the one kid doesnt even seem to be having fun. I want to go down to florida right now and see the park for myself!Avatar Imagemourn4marauders says: omg i am uber jealous of these kids!!!! the one kid doesnt even seem to be having fun. I want to go down to florida right now and see the park for myself!Avatar ImageStellar Sound says: Why is everyone hatin' on Ellen? She wasn't being "insulting" or "idiotic", she was just being Ellen.Avatar Imagenatalia96 says: Amazing!Avatar ImageKC Nox says: love ellen, but cant believe she hasn't read hp :(Avatar Imagecheeserpleaser says: What fantastic video showcasing the park! I truly believe that entering this park will effectively transport all fans into the universe of Potter for a day.Avatar ImageGiant Squid says: Hmmmm. Can't start it. :(
