The March 2010 issue of Total Film Magazine appears to have a small report on the upcoming "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows" films which features a few new quotes from director David Yates, actress Emma Watson (Hermione Granger), and screenwriter Steve Kloves. A report on SS notes comments made by David Yates, who expands on earlier comments which described Part One of "Deathly Hallows" as "a road film," by saying that the film "[is] a refugee story about three kids cut off from everything they know and everybody they love, being pursued relentlessly by people who want to murder them." He goes on to describe the second part of the film as a "big opera, a great big epic, with huge battles."
The report continues, featuring a quote from Miss Watson who comments on a new "structure" for the film by saying: “The others have this structure. You know, we come into the Great Hall and there’s the opening talk. And that’s gone." The report concludes by relating comments made by screenwriter Steven Kloves, who says that the ultimate split of the film "allow[s] us to stretch a bit with the characters and give them the proper send-off."
The issue is said to be on newsstands now; if you come across a copy of the issue, please do email scans to firstname.lastname@example.org.
I hoping the filmmakers DON’T attempt a cliffhanger. What’s the point? We know the 3 principle characters are doing to be in the next film. There’s nothing to hang on. Besides, you can’t trust Warner Bros with these things. They messed up Matrix 2 with a horrid cliffhanger. LOL
Of course, yes, that is Bill & Fleur in the picture; we’ve already seen the clip. And people should remember, we saw the Burrow on fire — not destroyed. Who says it could not be repaired? We Muggles do it all the time, and we don’t even have magic to help us. There is no reason for the filmmakers to invent some new place to have B&F’s wedding when they can still have it at the Burrow, and most likely will.
The battle is going to be awsome!!!!! I can’t wait to see the movies but I think that part 2 is going to be out the best one. I’ve been re-reading the book and I think that the split might be when the 3 are at Luna’s house and discover the story about the deathly hollows. Then get attacked. This would be a good split b/c part 1 will be all about horcruxes until the end. So they end it when they are being attacked. So it at the end ppl whom have not read the book will be like what hell just happen?!
