One thing I loved about the interview was the fact that, for once, Oprah was interviewing a PEER — another woman who has had the same level of success that she has. I think Jo is a total class act. :o)

Just finished watching. I think I liked the last part of the interview the best where they talked about their common ground. Very interesting.

wow Jk Rowling is amazing!! I could honestly listen to her talk all day..I love how she is so passionate in everything she talks about. Such a great role model!

I just finished watching it too. It was fantastic! Jo spoke so openly and honestly, it was absolutely fascinating and made me cry quite a few times. What a wonderful, beautiful woman she is!
I LOVED the last bit where Jo said that a fan came up to her and told her that she was her childhood. I desperately wish i’d read the books when i was a child, i was 9 when Philosophers Stone came out and i know i would have adored it! Whenever i read the books now i pretend i’m that 9 year old girl who loved magic, goblins and fairies. The writer i associate my childhood with is Roald Dahl, but i know for sure that i will be reading the Harry Potter books for the rest of my life, to my children, then to my grandchildren. I wish i could tell her how much her books mean to me.
