Avatar Imagehewy says: Got to love Dobby!!!!!!Avatar Imagehermy007 says: very nice...r.i.p dobby!!Avatar ImageEmerson Nidigith says: Am I the only one who thinks that almost all of these posters seem really generic. I feel like the marketing department is just assuming that because it's Harry Potter they don't need to try.Avatar ImageGiant Squid says: Great poster! Great orb-like eyes!Avatar Imageratorr2 says: I'm with you, EmersonAvatar Imagemiss molly says: I am with you Emerson too & why so many posters?Avatar ImageNumeroUnoFan says: DOBBY miss that little guyAvatar ImageLittleBayPony says: argh, i have just watched half blood prince and am already gutted again for dumbledores death, why bring a tear to my eye with doppy? T.T R.I.PAvatar Image2tal says: The marketing side is always taking a baseball bat to crack an egg! Apparently folks aren't considered able to understand nuance any more. It is a bit lame and sad. I am still hoping that the last two films will be true to the text even though that hasn't been my experience to date! Well, maybe on Prisoner of Azkaban ... that is my favorite film so far, the one that seemed to best fit to the tale told.Avatar Imagectgryffindor says: It's Dobby, Littlebaypony.Avatar Imagehonigmuffin says: It's a pity we didn't get to see more of Dobby in the previous films.Avatar Imagemaimiaa says: DOBBYYYYY. cool poster.Avatar Imagehpfanaticfan2011 says: Here lies Dobby... A FREE ELFAvatar ImageSohumdore says: I LOVE DOBBY! hes amazing even in deathAvatar Imageabandonedboyjon says: i actually like this particular marketing campaign. the other character posters - i think they had some "on the run" type slogan - were pretty much the same as the previous two movies' posters, but these ones are different, simplistic. they show that the last two movies are not about magic, they're about character. if you ask me, they all should have been about that, but i'm just thankful they're getting it right this time.Avatar Imageaval says: DOBBY=LOVEAvatar ImageMudblood_and_proud says: awesome poster. RIP dobbyAvatar Imageharrypotterfreak101 says: Awesome picture! Finally a good picture of Dobby. When Dobby was killed, it was like my heart was torn out. I loved that little house-elf. His spirit will always remain a legacy.Avatar Imagetrumpetgirly says: awwww dobby. just put this poster as my screen saver for my itouch :D I cried soo hard when dobby died. i was so upsetAvatar ImageBless_the_children says: A free elf <3Avatar ImageStarlysh says: Dobby lookin' adorable somehow. I love the detail to his skin. Avatar Imageigo2pigfarts says: Dobby<3Avatar Imageda_member0808 says: Awww Dobby! R.I.P The poster is different.... It seems like the marketers are going at a different angle... something dark and yet simple. Not sure if I like it that much.. Avatar ImageAkilahSakai says: As for it being rather simple, keep in mind all promotional material isn't only used for movie posters. Have you ever noticed those huge movie character banners that have hung from ceilings at theaters? I think some of the images seen here are for those humongous banners, not wall posters. These intense closeups would be perfect for that use. Imagine seeing all 8 of them lined up: Harry, Hermione, Ron, and Dobby on one side. Then Snape, Voldemort, Fenrir, and Bellatrix's closeup banners on the other side of the main entrance to a movie theater. Awesome!Avatar Imagebeckett19 says: Fabulous. This marketing campaign is actually genius. There are a lot of people out there who are just movie fans and haven't read the books and therefore don't know what is about to happen (I know it seems insane but trust me I lived with someone who was a fan through the movies only and refused to talk about book 7). By making the promotional material simple they are doing two very important things: 1). keeping the tone dark and showing those of us that know what's happening that the tone is there. They are beaten, bruised, scared. Exactly what we expect them to be. 2). Keeping it completely spoiler free. They are dark and ominous and you get the feeling from them that "Nowhere is safe" or that "the hunt is on" but you aren't spoiled as to what is happening. It's genius. It's dark, its ominous, it's frightening. But it doesn't give anything away. Think about the other marketing campaigns from some of the great blockbusters. The Dark Knight had some of the most simple posters out there. But they were fantastic! And that movie is truly dark and frightening. I love it. And I love that they are including Dobby. Love. Love. Love. Avatar Imagetaoist1 says: kinda creepy Avatar ImageNot Slytherin says: Dobby.Avatar ImageSindi says: awww i love Dobby! His beautiful big round eyes are sooo adorable! :D Avatar ImageIceholic says: If this was on my wall I'd die of fright every time I looked at it. These posters are awful. I can almost see skin cells! Photoshop on speeds!Avatar ImageIceholic says: Though I'll admit, this one actually fits the character very well. Dobby was a very annoying, in your face character. Personal space was an unknown concept for that guy.Avatar Imagetattooed_slytherin says: i love the range of posters and banners that have come out for DHAvatar ImageValeria-Johanna says: aaaaaaaah!Avatar ImageValeria-Johanna says: aaaaaaah!Avatar ImageValeria-Johanna says: aaaaaaah!Avatar ImageValeria-Johanna says: aaaaaaah!Avatar ImageValeria-Johanna says: aaaaaaaaah!Avatar ImageValeria-Johanna says: aaaaaaaaaaaaah!Avatar Imagedevilskinn says: Hope these two movies are as good as the marketing campaign!! Dobby - one of my favourites in the book >:D<Avatar ImageValeria-Johanna says: I seem to be having problems posting comments today. But basically what I wanted to say about this poster is 'aaaaaaaaaaaaaah!Avatar Imageazaadpotter says: I love DobbyAvatar Imageazaadpotter says: I love DobbyAvatar ImageFleur-de- Lily says: Got to love Dobby!!!!!!Avatar Imagehermy007 says: beckett19, i totally agree. these posters arent like the others from the other movies, theyre simple, and sometimes, like in this case, simple is best. i mean, look at the tagline for the on the run trio poster "the end begins" its very simple, and even sounds a bit paradoxical. yet it doesnt give anything away, it gives a taste of the tone of these movies, which are of course, the most adult and dark of the series. Avatar ImageCDR says: Viva Dobby!!Avatar ImageLove is the greatest magic says: Dobby :'(Avatar Imagevicki_the_house_elf says: I love you Dobby! <3 I'm dreading seeing him die :'(Avatar ImageKeaHellstorm says: Oh Dobby D: I've cried so much when you diedAvatar Imagejacket says: Aw! he looks so cute!Avatar ImageLizzydizzy says: Dobby is so cute, may he rest in peace as a free elf.Avatar ImageGryffindor Lioness101 says: Dobby is one of my fav. char. I cried in the 7th book.Avatar Imagehermygrakhs94 says: I LOVE DOBBY!!! I WAS ABOUT TO GIVE THE SAME NAME TO MY DOG!!! WHY DID HE HAVE TO DIE?!? R.I.P.!Avatar Imageksddancer says: Cool! I cant wait!!!!!!!!!!!Avatar ImagePolka Square says: i dont know why you guys are complaining. these are amazing.Avatar ImageAlice Weasley says: I am definitely going to cry during that part..Avatar Imagelunatic_gry says: I think that this poster is so important because Dobby is a great character and he deserves a poster in the last movie. So nice.Avatar Imagejhangelgurl says: I love Dobby. I wish we saw him in more films. Avatar ImageSlyBones says: Dobby!!! I'm gonna cry!Avatar Imagenearramorgan says: I hate it when Dobby died.
