A quick bit of news has come online this morning via actor Matt Lewis' (Neville Longbottom) Twitter page. The actor, who is currently filming for the "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows," made mention of the film's last day of filming at Pinewood Studios, saying: "It's the last Harry Potter shooting day at Pinewood Studios today. Mr Stephen Woolfenden, our brilliant 2nd Unit director wants you to know!" Readers will recall that production for the final installments of the Harry Potter films expanded to include Pinewood Studios, in addition to their longstanding home-base at at Leavesden Studios. Filming is expected to continue at Leavesden, a point which Mr. Lewis went on to made, tweeting, "Just to avoid confusion. It's the last day at Pinewood Studios. We've got loads more to do back at base; Leavesden Studios."
"Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows" will be released in two installments; the first November 19, 2010, and part two on July 15, 2011.

Well like most everyone has said already, this is exciting but at the same time sad news. Although it’s only the last day at Pinewood Studios and, there’s still plenty more filming to be done elsewhere, it is still A Last Day of filming sigh That just feels weird to even think about.

Here’s hoping the films live up to the book. They have had enough time to get it right and not add stuff that wasn’t in the book but of course they will with some of it. Hated the burning of the Burrow that was totally uncalled for. Any way time seems to be slipping away and we anxiously await the first installment. Glad Matt is keeping us informed!

I am torn. I am really looking forward to seeing the last two movies, but do not want the HP experience to be over. Hopefully, Jo is writing her HP Encyclopedia, and we aill all have one more Potter experience to look forward to.
The thought of filming soon ending at Leavesden as well accomplishes nothing but the bringing of tears to my eyes.
