Chris Rankin (Percy Weasley) is lined up to speak at the 11th public Leeds Young People's Film Festival on the event's Harry Potter Day. On Monday the 5th of April, the Festival will screen the first four Harry Potter films as well as featuring talks from "special guests" including Rankin. The event's website also mentions that there will be prizes for those in the best costume and encourages all to dress up in wizarding attire. The films will be shown at the Hyde Park Picture House in Leeds. A Harry Potter All Day Pass, which grants you a ticket for each of the first four films, costs £8 for under 19s and £10 for over 19s. More details, including the prices of tickets for individual films, can be found on the Harry Potter Day section of the Leeds Young People's Film Festival website, via this link.

sigh I live in Leeds and can’t go because it’s sold out. My compensation is that I can have a HP DVD marathon on my sofa with a constant supply of snacks and coffee instead of a whole day on an old fashioned cinema seat. I don’t mind, really I don’t sob

Dreamteam that is too bad … meh, it totally sucks. To actually live or be someplace that a HP event is taking place and to find it’s sold out? That is totally not fair. sigh
But, how awesome is it that Harry Potter Day now exists. I’m just waiting for this day to be an international holiday.
