A series of images have made their way online of a number of props from the “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows” film, including the very first look at the Life and Lies of Albus Dumbledore and History of Magic prop used in the final films. Photos, which can be found in right here, come from a recent design fair at which these props were on display care of the Wyvern Bindery bookbinding company which supplied the props to the production. Images include:

Avatar ImageMr. Brightside says: Wow! I have to say i never imagined the cover for History of Magic like this. Interesting. Skeeter's cover is hilarious!Avatar Imagemaxpower says: I gotta say, I imagined the "Secrets of the Darkest Arts" book to look a lot older and dustier. The "History of Magic" book looks pretty rad though!Avatar ImageIloveDobby says: I hadn't really imagined them like that :/Avatar ImageMr. Brightside says: I just tried to read what it is written in those books and i have to say that it is an excellent work. In Life and Lies of Albus Dumbledore there's a part that exists in the book but in Potions Making there is a whole explanation of symbols and stuff. I'm very amazed at the amount of detail that those books have. I wonder if Jo had anything to do with the Potions book. Avatar ImageEvagirl says: I didn't imagine the covers anything like that either.Avatar ImageHermione Elizabeth says: Pretty cool... I would love to get my hands on those books and actually read everything in them! hahaAvatar ImagePrincess Leia says: As a graphic designer, I am insanely jealous; those look like they would have been so much fun to design!!Avatar Imagehallows_or_horcruxes says: bookbinding is the greatest! i'm sort of hopping they'll use a jo designed beetle the bard though, it would be pretty sweetAvatar Imagenwrosey says: SQUEEEE!Avatar ImageTheHeirOfSlytherin2 says: I really like Skeeter's comment on the Quidditch Through the Ages book! Hilarious! I'm not sure why, but I always imagined the History of Magic cover to be red with "A History Of Magic" in big gold fancy print. Hmm. Well they all still look great!Avatar ImageGiant Squid says: I didn't really imagine it that way, but it looks great!Avatar ImageGiant Squid says: It is amazing how much detail goes into the props alone!Avatar ImageMatea says: I didn't imagine it this way either. not at all. I've always imagined old books, with oldish design. and Merlins beard, why is L&LOAD cover pink!? I thought it was Skeeter's most serious book. I hope they didn't put it pink because D is gay(undercover)Avatar Imageharrypotterfreak101 says: Those look awesome! But I imagined the cover blue, not pink actually...and I didn't think there would be a picture on the book either. But I have to say the other books look wonderful.Avatar Imagehewy says: These are truly great and would love to have all of them. Still waiting for "Hogwarts a History" to get into print. Maybe someday. Sigh.....Avatar Imagegirlatty1 says: Wow -- but yes the pink seems wrong, even if no intent to suggest anything.Avatar ImageDawna says: I pictured them older looking too. Avatar Imagestella8h8chang says: Not that much of a fan of Life and Lies...I wanted the purple to be more purple, as opposed to lilac. Lilac reminds me of Lockhart! Love love LOVE The Darkest Art + History of Magic. Avatar ImageJessSnape says: Amazing... I wish those were real books I could go buy!! I really want to read History of Magic.Avatar Imagejhangelgurl says: Loving the props all the detail they put into it.Avatar Imagehermy007 says: really cool books! i liked the chart that looks like the periodic table of elements in advanced potion making. :)Avatar Imagedecarus says: The Rita Skeeter book is slightly ridiculous, but it is supposed to be. I don't like the secrets of the darkest arts. I always imagined that as a book they had in their collection that was a one of a kind this looks like just a regular book. Avatar Imagenealiezealbie says: wow! this is really interesting. i always imagined that "life & lies" would have a very large photo of dumbledore though, since harry thought it was a mirror at first. and i always thought "secrets of the darkest art" would be huge. i dont know why, i just thought it would be rather big. and "history of magic"...hmmm...just looks a bit off, i guess. still they somehow all look lovely. i especially like all the insides. the potions book looks perfect; it looks like it was printed in the 60s! :) i love seeing props :D thanks leaky!Avatar Imagemollywobble says: Guys, the Life and Lies book is supposed to be hideous, because Rita Skeeter IS a hideous and tasteless character. It's niot suggesting anything about Dumbledore, it's all about her. Of course she'd want the book to be pink lizard print because she probably likes pink lizard print. Of course she'd dot the "i" in her name with a star like a 12 year old girl. It's hilarious and awful, just like Rita. It's not at all what I expected, but it's perfect. Avatar ImageRoseann says: Those books looked a little too new for me I thought they would look older and scarier.Avatar Imagethemagicalme says: Those look great! Although, if they were 50 years old (from when Riddle was in school), I think they should be older looking. Still very impressed with the detail!Avatar ImageHPIsLegit says: Rita Skeeter's name would be the biggest thing on the cover !!Avatar ImageNumeroUnoFan says: i really never pictured any of these to look this way but cool nonethelessAvatar ImageWON_TWO says: Very cool pix...Avatar ImageYodatheHobbit says: I'm glad a hell that these aren't how I imagined them. If they were like I'd imagined I've have seen them already, and where's the fun in that?Avatar Imageabagoofy says: It would be pretty sweet if these ended up getting published.Avatar Imagezstarsales04 says: Hello, everybody, I am new here. Here is something might be helpful for you.www.zstar.hk www.edgei-ds.cn (many movies to download)www.tigersupermall.comAvatar ImageiLoveDolores says: only one im disappointed with is secrets of the darkest art... did not expect the elaborate cover, would have much preferred a plain cloth or dragon skin cover, faded and dusty. the shape looks kind of odd too :S the otheres look really cool though, advanced potion making looks just like a school text book :PAvatar ImageSorceress25 says: these books look awesome!!! i wish some of these books were actually published, especially the history of magic book!!!!Avatar ImageOddRavenclaw222 says: God, I hate Rita Skeeter.Avatar Imageedtom123 says: i never imagined how any of the books looked at all. but really dig The dumbledore autobio cover. the others also very impressive, authentic in their wizardiness. i tried reading some of the interior pages, but it all sounded like wizardly hogwash, couldn't make a jest of anything. i thought the creature pages from MBOM were freakin sweet. Avatar ImageGlacius says: Wow i didn't imagine thatAvatar ImageGlacius says: Wow i didn't imagine thatAvatar Imagemolly43 says: I'm with you Nealie Zealbie. I thought it would be a large picture of Dumbledore (in color) because HP rushed to it, snatched it, and only then realized it was not a mirror. The narrator also said there was green writing across his hat. Mollywobble, that's the first thing I felt too, a pink lizard book would be just like Rita Skeeter. I wish I could even have a fake book of each book. I agree the "Secrets of the Darkest Art" should definitely look older. The potions book looks kind of plain but typical of a school text. I could see Snape picking it out. Avatar Imagemolly43 says: I'm with you Nealie Zealbie. I want one of those! I wonder what is actually written in thereAvatar Imageforgetmenot_007 says: Awesome! :-)Avatar ImageRodiniusBlack says: Secrets of the Darkest Art book cover looks amazing!Avatar Imagepromote_elfish_welfare says: Why is the Advanced Potion Making book here? A prop for DH? Does that mean Harry got it back from the Room of Requirement?Avatar Imagewiltabone says: Looks good ... Except obviously the content ... horrible Rita SkeeterAvatar ImageFleur-de- Lily says: SQUEEEE!Avatar Imagecha_granger says: Looks great! They seriously made those even only for prop. Wow!Avatar Imagepotterforpresident says: I love the cover for Secrets of the Darkest Art and History of Magic. Are these going to be available for purchase or are they solely props for the film?Avatar Imagechanngalambeatrice says: Cool.Avatar ImageLittle Light says: AWESOME!Avatar ImageBookworm_Weasley says: They all look awesome. The only problem now is that I want them all!Avatar Imageginnyrose says: wow i love all this mine you Hogwarts a History dose not look like i thought it would Avatar Imagevandy says: @Promote Elfish Welfare [*SQUEE*] I think the Advanced potion making book will be shown in the room of requirement in DH... Remember Harry kept it there in his 6th year... Secrets of the darkest art looks nice but may be they'll make it look old in the movie.. and DD's biography looks like a typical rita product....Avatar ImageNicci Weasley says: I love it!Avatar Imagecheeserpleaser says: What a great job they did on these!Avatar ImagePensievePerson says: where is Beedle the bard book? That books plays the biggest part. Avatar ImageKaliOlive says: Love seeing these, although I imagined them to look more like old medieval manuscripts. I thought Darkest Art would look a little creepier, the purple reminds me of goth wannabe girls, but that's just me. History of Magic looks beautiful!Avatar Imagemuggle..andproudofit says: Awesome! I read a few words of the Life and Lies of Albus Dubledore, and saw that they matched the book!!!!!! Where is The Tales of Beetle the Bard book?? It played a very importent roll in the book.Avatar Imageigo2pigfarts says: seriously. i thought it would be brown or something. pink? haha i guess that rita skeeters personal touch though! hahaAvatar Imagekiwimci says: I thought Life and Lies would be green, it was always a bold colour of green for me. Maybe I got that from Rita Skeeter. And Ha I've never heard it shortened to L&LOAD- Genius! And aswell Secrets of the Darkets Arts needs to be older but I bet in the movie it'll be a seriously battered up version than this nice freshly bound one. And I LOVE the Monster book of Monster's pages. Amazing!! I want to own these!Avatar Imageazaadpotter says: i never imagined them to be like that. there really awesomeAvatar ImageLORD BYRON says: HISTORY LOOKED TOTALLY DIFFERENT FROM HOW I IMAGINED IT. RITAS BOOK IS ABOUT WHAT UD EXPECT OF HER. POTIONS LOOKS COOL DARKEST ART DOES AS WELL.Avatar Imagemew5645 says: nice.. I wounder if u can bye it online Avatar ImageAirallia says: Looks really as though rita chose the coverAvatar ImageFresca says: The books are all really well done. I hope JKR will release saome of these to help her charities. Wouldn't that be fun to read?Avatar ImageCatherine says: looks awesome!!! i wish i could read them!Avatar Imagenyteflite says: this is amazing. :DDAvatar Imagefindthefourth says: Eh. Most of the books look great, but why is "Life and Lies" pink? It's a bit much, I think, even for the characterization. It makes it look like it's from the 70s.Avatar Imagemaimiaa says: frickin' awesome. :DAvatar ImageHerminee says: I expected History of Magic to be much, much thicker. If it takes them all seven years at Hogwarts to make it through the book, how can it be so thin? I imagined that it needed buckles to help keep it closed. Avatar ImageHerminee says: Overall, I expected the books to look a little less like they were mass-produced in a Muggle factory. I was thinking more of a hand-tooled look.Avatar Imagebeallgood01 says: Very cool. I hope I can get copies sometime.Avatar Imagehermionenluna says: coolio! Avatar Imagejacket says: Wow they totally weren't what I would have expected!Avatar Imagelunaisawesome says: great, but SOTDA needs to be olderAvatar ImageI love my Spectra Specs says: Hmm...I imagined the cover of 'The Life and Lies of Albus Dumbledore' as blue, not pink...and I thought all the other books would look more old and worn...but still, very cool :)Avatar Imagebrewinales says: I would love to have those books on my shelf just for the look. Whats cooler looking than the secrets of the dark arts book?Avatar Imagebrewinales says: I would love to have those books on my shelf just for the look. Whats cooler looking than the secrets of the dark arts book?Avatar ImagexxIBelieveInNarglesxx says: they all look pretty good, and i'd so buy them if they'd be published *sigh*Avatar Imagehermione198k says: I hadn't imagined the books like that. I'd really imagined them older looking, especially Secrets of the Darkest Art and A History of Magic. Still, its exciting to see these props!Avatar ImageRosie016 says: The books look awesome! They do look a little bit too new though, I would like to see some wear and tear on them, and would love to own these books!Avatar ImageLady Herdermort says: "The Life and Lies of Albus Dumbledore" looks better than I could ever imagined, it so Rita Skeeter! The textbooks are very pretty as well. Avatar Imagemagicmaniac says: sweet!!!!Avatar ImageToNkS_rip says: awesomeniness, but imagined differentlyAvatar Imageiris lily says: SO cool! I want copies!Avatar Imagebadger666 says: It's pink?! Odd choice, lol.Avatar Imagehalfbloodprincesss says: i imagined skeeters cover to look green, like it said in the book but the pink/green looks good too :)Avatar Imagehp931 says: I really wanrt thoose books, but I thoght that HoMaSotDA would be older. I'm some what surprised with the pages. I wish the'd make a lot of copies and sell them. I thoght every book but LaLoAD would look older.Avatar Imagenarglesohmy says: Why are they not mass-producing and selling these?! Do they KNOW how much money they'd make [from me]?!?!Avatar Imagevicki_the_house_elf says: They all look great! I love The Life And Lies Of Albus Dumbledore, i would love it if they released that for fans to buy.Avatar Imagevicki_the_house_elf says: I wonder if they're going to use the special edition books of Beedle The Bard? I hope so.Avatar ImageLeper says: I couldn't tell you which is my favorite. They're all quite awesome!
