In June, Leaky told you about ITV’s plans to produce a show entitled “50 Greatest Harry Potter Moments.” Fans were invited to vote for their favorite moments from the first seven films via Facebook.

ITV has now announced that the 2-hour show will air tonight at 8 p.m. GMT on ITV1 in the U.K. It will be narrated by actor Robbie Coltrane (Rubeus Hagrid) and feature contributions from other Harry Potter cast members, J.K. Rowling, and celebrity fans such as singer Will Young.

To celebrate the release of the final instalment in the Harry Potter film saga, this special programme counts down the 50 greatest Harry Potter moments. Robbie Coltrane – aka Hagrid – narrates the countdown and looks back at the events which have defined the story of Harry and his friends. From the very first meeting aboard the Hogwarts Express to the death of the mighty Dumbledore, there are numerous scenes that have made Harry Potter an international favourite. Featuring contributions from Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, Rupert Grint, JK Rowling, Julie Walters, Ralph Fiennes, director David Yates and many more, as well as chats with celebrity fans including Will Young and Richard Curtis

I hope it comes to the US and maybe it will be on youtube!Avatar ImageBeazle says: Great show- I am watching it now -everyone has been interviewed for it - almost as good as the "Year In the Life " documentary. Avatar ImageLunaLuver says: I hope it comes on BBC America soon!Avatar ImageBeazle says: Great to see Jo is so heavily involved in this show. She describes the trio as being perfect for their roles and says " I love you can probably tell."Avatar Imagekyrstalkris says: Yes! (: I forgot to vote though! D;Avatar Imageelanor17 says: omg the last line of Jo was so touching...Avatar ImageDumblebridge says: Great programme, was a bit weird though, I'm sure I didn't see Luna in the whole 2 hours!Avatar ImageHalfbloodPrince08 says: COOL , IS BEING TT IN TWITTERAvatar Imagecrikeyhunter says: ok - saw it again last night..... such a great movie.... but how could they leave out Harry repairing his wand!?!?!??!!??!?!!??!?!??!!??!?!?!?!?!?!?!? Avatar ImagePumpkinCauldron says: ♥Avatar ImagePumpkinCauldron says: ♥Avatar ImageFresca says: If you live in the Uk please enjoy it for us. It would be great if the show makes it across the Atlantic!Avatar Imagenimue_of_the_lake says: If this airs on this side of the pond, I am sure that you all here at Leaky will be the first to tell us!! Please, keep us posted!!!Avatar Imagetoughpygmypuffs says: I know a lot of other people have said this already but lets just say it again: BRING THIS PROGRAM TO THE U.S. OF A.!!!We're dieing to seee itttt!!!Avatar Imagevicki_the_house_elf says: It was brilliant! Jo was beautiful (as always), the cast gave really great interviews and they picked most of my favourite moments. When they showed Dobby dying I started crying again! Oh, Dobby, I love you <3 I loved that they ended it with Jo's words from the premiere.Avatar ImageWON_TWO says: Very nice...Avatar ImageEmmarose says: After watching this i can honestly say i'm suffering from post-potter depression. Having to go back to the books to keep going. We really need a Leakycon in the UK. Avatar ImageValeria-Johanna says: It was quite an enjoyable programme, but I took part in the voting, and they just didn't give us enough choice regarding 'moments' to vote for. This shows in the final programme - I ask you, only *one* Snape moment (the death of Dumbledore)? No First Potions Class? No Duelling Club? No 'Little Walk in the Moonlight'? No Veritaserum Threat? No First Occlumency Class? No 'Ob-viously'? No Unbreakable Vow? No Giving Draco a - erm - Talking-To? No 'Vulnera Sanentur'? No Evil Committee Meeting at Malfoy Manor? @Dumblebridge, You're right, too. No Luna?Avatar Imagemencia says: well great for people living in the UK and unfortunate for us :(Avatar ImageBeazle says: I think it was one of the best "Potter" shows I have seen. Jo was indeed very heavily involved but of course, there was very little coverage of DH2 moments and therefore the greatest of all Potter moments - The Prince's Tale/ The Forest Again - could not be included. All in all, it made me realise just how wonderful and -yes -magical -these films were and also what a debt we all owe to Jo (who is clearly having trouble letting go) for her story.Avatar ImageFleur-de- Lily says: I watched it last night it was so good.Avatar Imageoj. says: Really enjoyed it! I think they'd have to edit it if they were going to show it in the US though - I'm British and I didn't recognise half the minor celebrities who they had as "talking heads". The nice thing was that they showed more than just 50 moments, as they included a few mini-montages in there.Avatar ImageHogwartsChaplain says: I'm British and watched it last night and, I hate to break it to you, it was a little bit rubbish. It was nice to see snippets of seven films in one place but there were some very bad interviews with the actors (who exposed the fact that they didn't understand quidditch, for example), and the countdown choices seemed, to me at least, a little contrived. Still any Harry Potter on TV is better than no Harry Potter on TV - Love the latest film - gagging for Pottermore!Avatar ImageHogwartsChaplain says: Also, must agree with "oj" - some of the "talking head celebreties" were Z-list!Avatar ImageHogwartsChaplain says: Also, must agree with "oj" - some of the "talking head celebreties" were Z-list!Avatar Imagekiwimci says: Yay I return to Ireland on Sunday and my parents have recorded it on Sky+, can't wait to see it. I hope the Mirror of Erised isin thereAvatar ImageDavidTheUnready says: It's on youtube yay!Avatar Image2tal says: Found it on the ITV website but when trying to play it errors out ... then found this bit of information ... looks like it will only be available in the UK while my hind quarters reside in California. Ah well! enjoy it all UK folks and tell us about it, please!-D I live outside the UK and cannot watch programmes, why? We do not hold international rights to all of our programming so video content is supplied only to users with IP addresses in the UK. Some users in Britain may be affected by such geographic blocking if their internet service provider uses servers outside the UK.Avatar Imagew3a5l3y says: Thought it was quite a decent programme. Should have kept the interviews to those involved with Potter, no need to pad it out with "celebrities" Obviously there wasn't going to be much content in relation to DHP2, also it said the public voted for the countdown, it musn't have been well advertised because I never saw anything! Regarding the countdown I must admit I was surprised the rebirth of Voldemort was down in 17th place I think, that was a fantastic & scary moment in TGOF and it represents a turning point in the whole story when Harry's enemy now becomes a physical presence who can harm or kill him.Avatar Image2tal says: Kindly someone has summarized the 50 moments in two segments here, about 6 minutes each: 50 to 26: 25 to 1: While it isn't the whole 90 minute show it does show each bit! Thanks to zbr76!Avatar Image2tal says: Snitchseeker has a nice video summary here: Imageacbiskit says: Missed it! Really hope I get another chance.Avatar ImageTheGryffindorFox says: @Valeria-Johanna, I completely agree, the first thing my Mum said when it finished was "why didn't they have any Snape moments?" An outrage! It was quite fun but I wouldn't have personally chosen the number 1 moment as my number 1! Avatar ImageRadiance says: Already watched most of it on YouTube! Loving it! <3Avatar ImageAlicex says: I watched this, it was so good. brought back many memories :) Avatar ImageJoRowlingRocks says: - Voting for this was definitely a little off, there were 50 moments to choose from & you could pick 25. So less of a voting for your favourite 50 than putting them in order! Definitely not enough Snape or Luna. - I don't see the problem with the celebrity guests, apart from that guy from TOWIE, what an eejit! - No it won't be showing on BBC America !? seeing as it was made by the BBC's competitors! - Jo looked beautiful, as ever! =) p.s. Leaky it was on at 8pm BST not GMT =PAvatar Imagestunod says: this needs 2 b in the us!!!!!!!!!!!! Avatar Imagewandmastercalum says: I've recorded it but I've seen some of it and it's really good. I thought it was STV who did it :SAvatar Imagesilverkacy says: Come to the U S of AAvatar Imageverita12 says: You can watch it all on YouTube!Avatar ImageElenakiMagic says: I live in Greece I can't watch it :'(Avatar ImageEdwardDiggory says: i just watched it over on's really nice to see some of the beautiful scenes from the movies..make me wanna have a round of potter movie marathon!.=)Avatar ImageGiant Squid says: Awww missed it :(
