Long time Leaky fans know all about the joyous Potter holiday
that follows Christmas every year. No, it is not the anniversary of the Book 7 release day announcement, and no it has nothing to do with Argus Filtch. Today is in fact the birthday of Leaky's own Melissa Anelli!
I hope you'll drop whatever you're doing and raise your butterbeer mugs or various beverage high and toast to my dear friend Melissa. Though if you'd prefer to make a more visible gesture go ahead and give her a shout here in comments or on twitter @Melissaanelli!

Happy birthday Melissa! Your work has meant so much to me over the years; thank you so much for all that you do and all that you are. You remain my favorite source for Harry Potter news, because 1) you do it kindly and honorably and perfectly and 2) you are (and always will be!) superior to Mugglenet in quality and tone. In my opinion. Not to be mean or anything. :D Happy birthday and hope it’s wonderful!
