Accio Books: Help Build the Imagine Better Library; LiveStream Event NOW!

The HP Alliance is holding a fundraising venture this weekend which aims to fund the supplying of books a new library for the children of the Bedford-Stuyvesant New Beginnings Charter School in New York City. The HPA has partnered with Borders to offer this special coupon which, when you purchase books for yourself this weekend, donates a percentage from the sale towards the library of the Stuyvesant New Beginnings Charter School. This coupon works both in-store and online at Borders.com, by using the code HPAL0319G. This effort runs until Midnight tonight, so do not delay in supporting the children of the Stuyvesant New Beginnings Charter School while supplying your own book addition.

To this effort, the HPA will be hosting a LiveStream event, which has started now via this link! Join authors Holly Black, Sarah Smith, Ellen Kushner, Delia Sherman, and Kelly Link at 5:30 pm EST followed by Leaky's own Melissa Anelli at www.livestream.com/imaginebetter to join in the effort of bringing this library together and Accio Books!

I think, Accio Books itself is continuing into April, so it’s still possible to donate books.
