Leaky caught up with Harry Potter director David Yates this week as part of the press surrounding the opening of the WB Studio Tour, and he talked to us about his new project set to star Emma Watson, “Your Voice in My Head,” a drama about a young suicidal girl whose terminally ill psychiatrist helps her learn to live. He said “we haven’t yet seen what she can do,” and that the role was finally a plum and “complicated” one set to show off Emma’s talents. Check it ou on LeakyNews’s YouTube, or right below:

Avatar ImageLunaLuver says: This is truly going to showcase all of Emma's talent. We know she has it, but have yet to see a dark side to her. Should be very interesting. Avatar Imagesiena says: I am really looking forward to this now. I think Emma will be incredible - and, even though this doesn't matter too much really; she even looks a bit like Emma Forrest too. I have read that Stanley Tucci is in for the role as the psychiatrist ... it would be smashing if he got the part. This just leaves me worrying about David Yates - he just distorted some of the Harry Potter material far too much for my liking. On the other hand, "Your Voice In My Head" is totally differently narrated (but no less touchingly than Harry Potter) and Emma Forrest will presumably choose carefully who is to direct her life story AND - most importantly - Yates DID bring out the best in Ms Watson's performance that's for sure.Avatar Imagewandmastercalum says: Looks good! Avatar Imagekatelyner123 says: EPIC! Go Emma!! :DAvatar ImageWON_TWO says: Will she be getting Botox for those eyebrows?Avatar ImageMissWeasley8 says: Um... I don't mean to be Draco Downer but I really do not see Emma playing a suicidal teen. I am really happy that she is definently playing a darker character, so I have to give her a thumbs up for it. I do think she can conquer this and I think this will surprise me. I am happy for her because of how much of a role model she is, unlike some celebrities who choose to drink and smoke and steal and end up doing awful things. She is maintaining a positive attitude and I think she will be fantastic. So, I believe this will be good for her and I to see through a new spectrum.Avatar ImageMissWeasley8 says: @siena Is your profile photo a Fwooper? I have read about those in Fantastic Beasts & Where To Find Them by Newt Scamander! They are African birds that have a M.O.M rating of Xxx, which means they areAvatar ImageMissWeasley8 says: Competent wizards should copeAvatar Imagekyrstalkris says: I'm really amazed, this is so far from their usual work. I honestly am very excited to see how they both do!Avatar Imagesiena says: Yes, MissWeasley8, I tried (not very successfully as you can see - the top is cut off) to download a Fwooper as my profile picture because they made me laugh most when I read "Fantasic Beasts" :) I'm pretty sure they are based on budgies .... if you've ever had to endure their shrill and angry cries you'll known what I mean ... As for Emma's part - it will surely be a stretch, I agree. But she has this great ability some actors have to express thoughts and emotions just by facial expressions. I believe this will help her with the part. I loved her performance in Potter 6, 7&8.Avatar ImageG.Weasley says: I never got to watch My Week With Marilyn so I will go and see this one if it's the last thing I do.Avatar ImageValarie1 says: sounds nice to me.... Avatar ImageMichelle32 says: This looks really good and I look forward to seeing Emma pull off a role like this. She'll be great.Avatar Imagelovelle says: Nice one! That would be like a reunion for them! And i think that it's nice for them to do something outside HP. Good luck to the both of them!Avatar Imagemencia says: great story line definitly. I know Emma can do it too :). I would want to see it!
