Scholastic’s new cover design for Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince has been revealed. The cover was unveiled at Comic-Con 2013 in San Diego. These new covers will be on paperback editions of new Harry Potter books, while Mary GrandPre’s original artwork will remain the dust jacket art of hardcover Harry Potter books. The picture can be seen below. Many thanks to Hypable for the tip!

Avatar Imagemoglet says: I like this cover the best out of the new designs so far.Avatar ImageLunaLuver says: Very similar to the original, but with the feel of SS when Harry was younger with the cape.Avatar ImageXyra44 says: This is a good one. :)Avatar ImageMad But Happy says: Very nice! But why aren't they showing the back of the books, too? Avatar ImageWeenyOwl says: I don't like it. It looks like the guy just made a cartoon version of the movie poster, pointing the characters in the opposite direction. Very lazy and unoriginal, in my opinion.Avatar ImageWON_TWO says: Not the scene I would have chosen for the cover...
