Stephenie McMillan, who was the set decorator for all of the Harry Potter films, passed away this past Monday due to complications from ovarian cancer.
In 1997 McMillan won an Oscar for Best Set Decoration for “The English Patient” alongside art director Stuart Craig, who she would later work on all eight Harry Potter films with. Her work on Harry Potter helped define their distinct and magical atmosphere.
Our thoughts are with her family.
