Reuters reports that J.K. Rowling and her daughter Jessica won a case on Wednesday against the magazine OK!, which published pictures of her young daughter on a tropical beach. Britain’s Press Complaints Commission, an independent watchdog, ruled OK!’s pictures of Rowling and her 8-year-old daughter Jessica had invaded the author’s privacy. “The commission thought that there was no justification in taking long-lens pictures of an 8-year-old girl in her swimwear without her knowledge and without the consent of a parent,” a PCC spokesman told Reuters.
