Under the watchful eye of author JK Rowling, Warner Bros and EA executives, Australian game designers are busy programming adventures and animating ogres for two new games that will be released in November alongside the second Harry Potter film, The Chamber of Secrets (from the Sydney Morning Herald).

Speaking of games, GameSpot reports that the first “Harry Potter” game has reclaimed the top spot in the latest list of best-selling games.

All five Amazon.com sites — in the United States, Germany, England, France and Japan — reported that the Harry Potter books led the list of all 37.9 million items sold by the company in the pre-Christmas period from Nov. 9 to Dec. 21.
