J.K. Rowling, News

It is no secret that J.K. Rowling is a Wimbledon fan. She has attended the event many times before, since Harry Potter’s success. Having become a Twitter addict lately, J. K. Rowling shared her experiences at this year’s Wimbledon through her favorite social media. She supported Serena Williams throughout the games, and even stood up for her against those who were unkind. Though her love for tennis isn’t nearly as passionate as her love for rugby, Rowling showed much excitement and even joked about her “t-rex” tenis arms.

She found that she was fond of other tennis players as people, and would offer her support when they weren’t playing her favorites. Despite having editing to do–presumably on a screenplay or helping her friend, Robert, with his novel that is set to be published this fall.

Reading J.K. Rowling’s response to this fan’s question, try not to laugh at the imagery she paints of herself painting tennis.

Jo then threw some humor into a solid take-down.
