Jim Kay Reveals New drawings for the Illustrated Edition of “Philosopher’s Stone”

Voldemort has been unveiled! In order to get fans excited and talking about Jim Kay’s illustrated editions of the Harry Potter books, the first due out October 6th, Scholastic and Bloomsbury asked fans to mention #UnveilVoldemort on social media. After so many mentions, the new illustration from Jim Kay would be revealed. It only took us Potterheads 2 days to meet their quota. Voldemort has been unveiled!

In addition to this unveiling, CBC in Canada also offers an exciting sneak peek at the new illustrated edition of Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone. The sneak peak is an extension of images we have seen before, and new ones as well. For the first time, we get to see how the books will be formatted–images to text. This sneak peek can be seen here, with a few examples below!
