Happy Birthday, Molly Weasley!

As the resident young mom/writer here, I am thrilled to wish Mrs. Molly Weasley a happy birthday from all of us at Leaky.  If there has ever been a fictional mum to make a model for good parenting, it’s she!  To celebrate her special day, here are just a few of the things we love about Mrs. Weasley.

10.   The Weasley Clock keeps better track of the family than any cell phone GPS system ever could, yet she still worries about each and every person when away.

9.  Her handmade Christmas gifts may win any ugly sweater contest, but the love they show is priceless.

8.  Even though the family is magical, everyone is still responsible for doing the chores.  (De-gnoming, anyone?)

7.  She ALWAYS knows Fred from George.

6.  She has a celebrity crush. (Even if it’s Gilderoy Lockhart…)

5.  Her loathing of Fleur Delacour.

4.  Her love of Fleur Delacour.

3.  Percy will always be welcomed home.

2.  She lost a son in the Second Wizarding War, but she never would have kept him from fighting.

1.  “Not my daughter, you b#!*!”  (Need I say more?!)
