Matt Lewis (our beloved Neville Longbottom) will be featured in a new chick flick (romantic drama), Me Before You, based off the novel by Jojo Moyes. The film was expected to be released as a summer film, on June 3. However, Warber Bros. and MGM recently pushed up the release to a spring date, March 4.

Deadline, with an “insider” reported the move in date, saying:

Warner Bros./MGM romantic drama Me Before You based on the Jojo Moyes novel is leaving its June 3 summer release date and heading to March 4.  Insiders say the new release is a better time to hook women, particularly those off from college and high school on spring break. Me Before You is directed by Thea Sharrock from a screenplay that was penned by Moyes.

Me Before You tells the story of Lou (Clarke), a small town girl caught between dead-end jobs; and Will (Sam Claflin), a high-profile, successful man who becomes wheelchair bound following an accident. The two get off to a rocky start, but Lou becomes determined to prove to Will that life is worth living and as they embark on a series of adventures together. Doctor Who‘s Jenna Coleman and Clarke’s fellow Game of Thrones cast mate Charles Dance also star.

According to IMDB, Matt will be playing the role of “Patrick.” Patrick is the Lou’s small-town steady boyfriend before she goes and works for Will. His character is a personal trainer that is described as being “obsessed with with sports and diet.” Given how much news Matt Lewis’s body has been making recently, we think he’ll fit the role very well!
